Which is the greatest video game ever created and why???

I have been an avid gamer for over a decade and have played numerous
titles to the point I barely had a social life. Some of them were good, some of
them not so good and some worthless. After a point of time, when I began to
lose interest in video games (or so I thought), my father gifted me this video
game saying that it has garnered excellent reviews and claimed it is the best
game of the year. After playing the game, I realised that I must disagree with
my father on his claim it is the best of that year for I thought that this gem of a
game is the best of this generation!
It is simply that good in every sense!
So if you are wondering what the heck is this game I am raving on and
on about, I’ll spill it out for ya, it is “Dragon Age: Origins”. The masterpiece that
took Bioware, the studio behind the game, six years to sculpt.
So what makes this game unparalleled amongst its innumerable
counterparts?
Well, let me put it this way. DAO is much more than just a game, it is an
interactive movie!
The game is crafted in such a manner that it requires your participation
periodically and the choices you make will impact the game to the very core.
What kind of choices? Some simple ones like selecting your race, gender and
background story at the beginning of the game to breath taking choices like
allying yourself with an ancient creature against the wishes of your
companions and so on. I don’t want to spoil it for you but almost every choice
you make will alter the landscape of the game so profoundly that it will be
hardly your fault if you are left thinking whether the game runs on some form
of artificial intelligence.
So you infer it is not a simple video game like Call of Duty where you
have to shoot anything that moves but more sophisticated like an interactive
movie. But does that mean the elements of gaming like combat are dumbed
down?
Absolutely not!
In fact the combat of the game is one of its hallmarks once you get used
to it.
“Okay, so this game is special and unique in a sense. But else does this
game offer to escalate it to the tippy top of video gaming ranks?” I am glad you
asked.
Well, the game has got almost everything that an AAA game would hope
to have!
I know that is a bold claim but allow me to back it up before you carry on
with your monologue that I am an (insert expletive of choice).
So, what are the features it has got that sets it in a class of its own?
1) A Spellbinding, captivating and bewitching story and setting that must
be experienced to fully appreciate it.
2) A combat system which is as rewarding as it is addicting.
3) Great original sound tracks that will make the late Mozart sit up and
take notice in his afterlife.
4) Gorgeous animations which show the characters emotions precisely.
5) Incredible and enjoyable missions which are pure adulterated fun to
play and also carry a great sense of purpose.
6) Lastly, all the subtle details and nuances that Bioware has employed
to delight the gamers and make gaming experience consistent all
through.
So if you are someone even remotely interested in playing video games
or want to immerse yourself in a high fantasy that will give the Lord of
The Rings a run for its money (this is not even the slightest exaggeration
of the truth in my humble opinion), YOU NEED TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!
So what are you waiting for, go ahead and play this game dammit 😊
My 2nd Pitch For Cracked:-
6 seemingly “healthy foods” which in reality are not at all healthy.
All of us depend on food to survive. It is indispensable. But as we know
all foods are not treated equal. Some are highly nutritious and healthy
and good for the body while some foods barely fall under the label of
food because of the toxins that are present in them which once eaten
wreck havoc in the body. But what is shocking is that some foods which
are portrayed by the media and nutritionists as good and healthy are in
reality toxic and potentially dangerous to health. Lets take a look at
some of these most popular “healthy foods”.
1. Dried fruits.
Dried fruits are considered as a wonder food of sorts. It is loaded with
fibers, vitamins and minerals and what not. But what most don’t realize
is that behind the garb of a healthy food, dried fruits are the culprit
behind a host of health issues like gastrointestinal problems, weight gain
and tooth decay amongst the clean eating enthusiasts who indulge in
this food even in slight excess.

“Dried fruits may cause you to have gas, abdominal cramping, bloating,
constipation or possibly diarrhea”.
“Consuming an extra 250 calories per day from dried fruit could
contribute to as much as 2 pounds of weight gain in a one-month time
frame”.
“Sticky foods, such as dried fruits, are especially harmful because they
stick to your teeth, forcing the sugar to stay on the teeth for a longer
period of time”.

healthy-snack/slide/5/
“When the body breaks down fructose [in dried fruit or in any source], it
produces a lot more waste products and toxins, and increases blood
pressure more so than other carbs,”
“You’re better off eating candy than dried fruit, if you’re looking at the
sugar content—one bag of M&Ms or a Milky Way bar has 30 grams of
sugar, which is less than what’s in about a cup of dried papaya or figs.”
2. Flavored Oatmeal
Oatmeals are seen as the solution to healthy weight loss along with a
host of other health benefits these days. But they are really not what it is
cracked up to be.

“Instant oatmeal doesn’t do your health any justice. Flavored, single-
serving packets have way too much added sugar, and therefore, way too
many unnecessary calories”.

“1 packet of Quaker Oats Maple & Brown Sugar instant oatmeal has:

157 calories
2 grams of fat
4 grams of protein
32 grams of carbohydrate ( incl 3 g fiber / 13 g added sugar)
Similar in macronutrient profile to:

4 Twizzlers, or
a cup of Kellogg’s Scooby-Doo! Berry Bones breakfast cereal, or
2 fat Free Fudgesicle bars, or
a York Peppermint Patty, or
a Klondike, Slim-a-Bear Chocolate Sandwich, or
a cup of Kellogg’s SpongeBob SquarePants breakfast cereal”.
