 Took Camera I and II, classes focusing on film and lighting theory with extensive hands on
experience using film cameras and various lights (Fresnels, Open-faces, HMIs, and Kinos).
 Took “Sight and Sound: Film” and “Sight and Sound: Studio” and gained experience
managing sets and people throughout the pre-production and production processes of small,
“no-budget” films.
 Took “Color Sync” and gained experience producing and directing a small budget film
 Worked as a DP on multiple classmate’s projects.

 Worked as an intern at a small production company creating comedy videos for the web.
 Gained experience using the Sony EX1, quickly setting up lights, building sets, and preparing
for productions (buying props, scheduling auditions for actors, ect.).

the student editing labs on the 10th or 11th floors of the Tisch building.

VOLUNTEER, EASTERN MENNONITE HIGH SCHOOL – Harrisonburg, VA, Spring 2008
 Directed, produced, shot, and edited a three minute promotional video for the school that is
now shown at alumni gatherings to explain recent school building projects (video available

 Directed, shot, and edited a short music video for a local chorus that was shown at a talent
show (video available upon request).
 Produced a twenty minute comedy spoof video shown at a school sponsored banquet.
