JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Financial Controller


Department: Finance

Purpose of Position: To contribute to the overall success of the organization efficiently and effectively.
By performing a wide range of duties; which includes the managing of financial tasks and processes,
overseeing the budgeting and accounting. By developing accounting strategies, auditing and executing
proper internal control procedures, providing financial management reports and contributing to
decisions regarding finanical strategy.

As Head of IT: Initiate and implement improvements in all areas of IT responsibility. Also to serve as
main point of contact on all IT-related matters assigned.

Reports to: Directors, COO

Responsible for: Assistant Accountant, Administrative Accounts Staff, IT Officer

Functional Relationships: Indent HOD, Operations Manager, Manager Hardware, Manager Timber,
HRM, COO

Authorities: Signatory to company bank accounts, approve online payments, approve supplier payments
