A320 Captains - Type Rated & Non-Type Rated


Term: Permanent employment up to age of 65, then renewable annually to the age 68
Operating Base: Kansai/Osaka Japan

Pay & Benefits


USD14,000 gross, approx + bonuses & allowances
Paid in JPY– USD equivalent provided as reference based on USD1/JPY111 rate
JPY925,000 - 945,000 (USD8,330 – USD 8,510 approx.) at joining
Monthly Base
Joining pay rate depends on PIC commercial jet experience on qualifying types.
Salary
Pay increments every 5 years

JPY20,000 (71-80 hours)

JPY22,500 (81-90 hours)

Some duties such as Instructor duty, FFS qualification checks, standby, and others

Days Off 10 consecutive days / month (non-commuting roster also available)

JCAB A320 rated: JPY3,000,000 (approx. USD 27,670)


ICAO A320 rated with 2,000 hours on A320: JPY2,000,000 (approx. USD 18,450)
Initial Bonus ICAO A320 rated with 1,000 hours on A320: JPY1,000,000 (approx. USD 9,224)
Payable after completion of training;
This bonus must be repaid to Peach if you resign within 2 years after payment

Annual Bonus Subject to Airline’s annual profit

Housing (Hotel) is provided in both Osaka and Tokyo, from the day of your arrival
Accommodation
in Japan until around the start of line training
After Training:
Local Transport JPY60,000/month; plus
Training: JPY10,000/month
Allowance Up to JPY7,000/day additional allowance
for late night/early morning transport

(JCAB A320 rated Pilots are exempt from this repayment)
Japan Paid by Pilot, deducted at source
Withholding Tax Japan income tax usually less than 30%, subject to your individual’ circumstances
*Taxes, health insurance, and pension charge will be deducted from the above gross income.

Minimum Requirements
PIC Time: 1,500+ Jet (50+ seating capacity) PIC hours at commercial airlines (business jet not accepted)
Total Time: 4,000+ hours
Last flight as PIC on relevant jet within 12 months
A320 Type Rated: Under 61 years at date of Application
Non Type Rated: Under 59 years at date of Application
Valid ICAO ATPL, First Class Medical, English Proficiency Level 4+ and Radio Licence
