BEFORE STARTING THE MACHINE !
A. USE & CHARACTERISTICS

This machine is a new model pillow-type packer developed by our

company with high speed and high precision. And the wrapped candy has

an attractive appearance, good sealing, good hygienic conditions and long

preservation period.

The machine has two paper shafts so can change the paper no need stop

the machine.

This machine use PLC control and adjust speed change the frequency

conversion. And the machine use touch screen with show the parameters

and menu operation, which works smoothly with low noise.

C. MAIN WORKING PRINCIPLE

1. Driving system

This machine adopts the common electric machinery M1 of transducer

speed regulation as the main force, and its packaging speed is controlled

from 300 to 1200 bags/min through fixed ration driving. The driving part of

this machine is made up of the gear wheel, roller chain, hold-in range,

friction band and other main components. The length of the packaging

paper is set on the controller and then finished by changing spur gear

under the driving of mini-electric machinery M3.

This machine installs the photo switch to orientate the color code and its

errors are regulated by the driving differential mechanism of mini-electric

machinery M4. The regulation of the stuff orientation is finished by

adjusting clutch.

Put the stuff 11 into the vibrating screen 8 and then entering candy-tidying

tray 9. The stuff is hooked out by pushing claw 10 from the tray and comes

into the shaper 12 by the driving of paper-feeding 1,2,3,4,5,6,7components.

One side of the film press on the automatic switch 23 and meet the stuff in

the shaper. With the help of the shaper, the films pack the stuff and are

formed into tubular shape. They are sent into warm-up place for

longitudinal-sealing by the traction wheel14 and pressing-brush13, and

then are sealed by longitudinal-sealing wheel 16 and folded seams by the

guide-block7. After that, entering transversal-seal to seal and are cut off by

the cutter19 and the stitch 20. That is the finished products 21.

D. Typical parts

1. The packaging

and continuously feed the rolling packaging paper. The central

line of the packaging paper’s width must be in accordance with

the feeding central line. When installing the packaging paper on

paper-roller frame. the bolts and nuts hold the fixed wheels on. The

handwheel 7 can adjust the central position with a little derivation.

Through adjusting bolt1 to change the pre-tightening force of the

compressed spring 2 for suitable elasticity of the damp wheel 3,

which ensure the paper-roller frame stable without outside force

disturbing. The packaging-paper feeding is finished by the eccentric

roller12 and the lay on roll13. The opening or closing between the

eccentric roller and the lay on roll for feeding by the operating

handle11. The two sides of the eccentric roller is equipped with the

compressed spring14 and adjust nuts15 for proper paper-feeding

pressure of them. Loosing handwheels and handle9 to adjust the

angle and position of roller 10 for better forming.

The machine is equipped with two sets of paper-roller frame for changing

the packaging paper without stopping machine.

2. Traction, heating and longitudinal-sealing mechanism.

guarantee the consistent speed of the traction and the paper-feeding, and

handwheel4 can adjust them. The clamping force among rollers change

the pre-tightening force of the compressed spring 6 by adjusting nuts7. If

pull the handle 5, the two rollers will open or close for paper-guiding or

feeding. Except the guiding, the second roller 1is mainly used to hot-seal

the packaging paper with the heating collar inside two rollers. The

thermocouple is installed in one of the roller for automatic controlling of

heat-sealing temperature.

3. Transversal-heating and cutting mechanism

The task of transversal-sealing and cutting mechanism is to complete the

transversal-sealing and cutting after the product stuffed. Picture 4 is the

outline. Hot-sealing is finished in the course of returning of the tool post 9

made on rotor 7, 8, and the cutter 2, 10 finish the cutting between two bags.

There are heating pipe11 and thermocouple12 inside the tool post .The top

of the axle 7,8 separately install the collector ring 14 and carbon brush to

finish temperature measurement signal and current transmission. The two

sides of axle 7 are separately installed on the turning bearing pedestal 6.

The central distance is changed by regulating dolt 5 to satisfy the changing

of the packaging paper thickness. Meanwhile, adjusting the relative

position of two driven gears 15 and 16 for controlling gear and

intermeshing’s back lash. The size of sealing and cutting’s pressure is

decided by adjusting dolt3 to change the pre-tightening force of the

compressed spring 4.

Besides, loosing two sides of four bolts1 and pull the eccentric shaft to

make the height of the cutter fit packaging when the stuff height changes.

Specially installing a set of gear boxes before the force enters the

transversal-seal and cutter mechanism to avoid involving and blocking

when the packaging paper get through transversal-sealing and cutter.

Picture 5 is its outline. When the packaging specifications change, pulling

handle 2 to loose nut 1 and turn handwheel 3 to accordingly change the

output of the angle speed.

E. OPERATION AND DEBUG

1. Operator’s Safety

(1)Only competent and trained personnel are allowed to operate the

machine.
(2)When the machine is working: The vertically and horizontal –sealing
wheels have a high temperature. Do not touch them. For operation,
attention injure hands when feeder roll, chain, and cutter running。

(3) Before the machine is maintained or adjusted, turn off power

switches and put on a warning bulletin board.

2. Installation

(1) The machine must be in level。

(2)The machine must touch with the earth, the power source is

220V, 50Hz.

3. Start machine and debug


(1)Connect the machine to power source, open the power switch。
(2) Before running, check the machine running,the machine must not
run reverse.
(3)Turn on the vertically and horizontal heating switches, check the
temperature controller’s temperature.
(4)Setting the packing length by the controller.(the detail please see
the “controller operation manual”)
(5) Please adjust the press-brush for stuff through the shaper.
(6)Stop the machine after the machine runs well with out load, then put
in the film (fig.1 shows) and through the rollers, put into the shaper (this

time, the partiality rolls need detach).
(7)Pull the film along the shaper go by two wheels. And adjusting
screw for packing.
(8)After 5 minutes when the temperature reach setting, then start the
machine with lower speed. View the bag from longitudinal sealing,
horizontal sealing
and cutter to check if the bag is up to stuff. If have follow problem, please
do as follow:
a, It isn’t well about the bag size: the bag is small, loose the handwheel
3 in the FIG 6 to “loose”; the bag is bigger, turn to “tighten”.
b, The paper’s degree of tightness is not suitable between paper
feeding roller and shaper: you need adjust the handwheel 2 in the FIG 6.
The paper is too loose, please turn to “tighten”, and tight contrarily.
c, the paper isn’t in the same line by longitudinal: you need adjust the
handwheel 1 in the FIG 6.
d, Packing paper dragged or block through horizontal-sealing cutter:
you need adjust the horizontal sealing transmission. Adjust way: See FIG 6.
loose the handle 9, turn the length adjust wheel 8.
(9) When the paper has color code, please see the detail “photocell
operation manual”.
(10)Open the on-off handle 10, see the detail aim at mark. Then close
the on-off handle 10. (In the FIG 6, on-off handle 10 use for paper
feeder and candy feeding’s on off)。

e paper is up to snuff, put stuff in the push track to test. Start the
machine with lower speed. Check the bag and seal is ok. Now you need
observe:
a. The candy put in to the paper’s position is aptitude, if no, adjust
the wheel 4 in the Fihand wheel 4 in the FIG 6.
b. The horizontal sealing jaws position is aptitude. If no, loose the
bolt6 in the FIG 6. And then turn the partiality pole 7.
(13)The machine stopped with some cause, you need open the paper
feeding wheel. And pull the paper out.
(14)In the first period , the speed need to be controlled in the 500
pcs/min(first 600hour)

F. CONTROLLER OPERATION MANUAL

1. PARAMETER SETTING

Under opening machine menu, according to the parameter setting

button, enters the parameter setting

Input the film actual length in the “length of the film” .

In the “stop Position” put in the value to setting the cutter’s position

when stop machine please input a suitable value to control the cutter in

a suitable position that can not occlusive.

“Inch speed” is the speed when the machine running with INCH.

“Adjust speed” is the machine’s running speed when you change the

bag’s length.

“Sealing heating value” is the check it the preheating block if have

function when the speed reach the check value.

Press “ LENGTH, MARK Operation” button, show “DEAD LENGTH” is

mean pack with a dead length. Show “ marking” is means pack with color

mark film. The photocell have working.

After setting the length, please press “adjust start”, then the machine

will run automatic, and adjust the length automatic, and the screen will

show “adjusting, please wait……”. After adjusting, the machine is stopped

automatic, and show “adjust finished”

“Length up limit” sets 80, “Length lower limit” sets 40.

“Paper feeding roll girth” sets actual paper feeding girth, don’t change

at will.

“The Shortest time” usually is 6. this is the shortest time for adjust the

adjust the length motor.

“The Longest time” usually is 60. this is the longest time for adjust the

adjust the length motor

“Check precision” according to the horizontal sealing check disc’s

specification. Sets 360, press “back” to the main menu. And then press

“ machine operation” to run the machine.

“ Max Speed ” No more than 50HZ.

2.MARKING OPERATION

Confirm parameter setting screen shows “MARKING”.

In the menu, press “ MARKING OPERATION” and setting the data of

the “CUTTING SYNCHRO ANGEL”

Press “CUTTER SYNCHRO” key to place the cutter on the

pre-connection position(about 2-3mm space).

Press “FILM FORWARD” key to move the packing paper to the

position of knife-edge for adjusting color code point and knife-edge.

Remove “FILM INCH” key. The screen returns to the machine operation

screen.

Press “MACHINE RUN” key to start the machine and check the

position of knife-edge if deviate to left and the same on the contrary

Dead length operation: confirm the parameter set screen showing

“DEAD LENGTH”. Adjust packing length and pack it into the packing paper.

Press “START” key to work.

3.MAIN MACHINE OPERATION:

The menu as follow: press “SPEED SETTING” to set transducer

frequency, and it is min. adjustable by speed up/down key. “RESET” key

can replace fault when the machine goes wrong. If not, the added value

can reset. Brush switch controls star/stop of the candy tidying brush.

Vibrating switch controls start/stop of the glassware. Press “ TEMP.

SETTING” key to operate and show temperature control screen. Press

corresponding switch to open/close longitudinal/transversal-sealing

heating.

G. MAINTENANCE :

1. A thorough cleaning must be given to the machine every shift to increase

its efficiency when all powder, chip etc, must be cleaned out. ATTN:CUT
OFF POWER SOURCE。

(1) The parts must be cleaned up are the candy-tidy disk, pushing claws,

track, surface of the table, vertically sealing wheels, horizontal sealing

pattern cutter, and so on. When you can use copper wire brush, scraper

and damp cloth to clean.

(2) To clean up the chain feed stuff (candy). The times for cleaning are

determined on local humidity, the power contents of the stuff to be

packed, and otherwise. When there is a layer of deposition on the

pushing chain and its framework, would use proper detergent to clean

up. After it lubricate the chain.


2、 LUBRICATION

About feeding chain lubricate, all sliding surface, gears and the like

termly. Strictly prohibit every transmitting parts from running where there is

not oil. The new machine works in the first month when lubricate it one time

per 4 hours, where they are every oil orifices and transmitting chain.
3、 MAINTAINING FOR SHAPER :

Too big packed stuff may be distorted and jam the shaped device passing it,

so that the packed stuff can’t freely enter the shaped device. Inspect that if

the slot under the shaped device is normal and its width is enough, and

contain the thickness and width of packed stuff, and regulate it betimes.

Simultaneously inspect if the bottom and both side plates of the shaped

device are leveled off. If they are not, regulate them to be flat.
4 、 MAINTIANING FOR HEATING-SEALING PARTS:(WITH
ELECTRICIAN TO HELP)
(1)For electric collectors. Termly clean up them, especially the dirt,
grease and so on between the collars must be cleaned out. Prohibit them
from broken. When the length of electric brush is decreased to about
10mm because of frication, it is needed to be replaced.
(2)Maintaining for horizontal-sealing-pattern-cutters, horizontal-sealing-
pattern-cutter, thermoelectric couple, electrothermal tube, cutters and anvil
are mounted in a whole.
Replace thermocouple: loosen the collector’s wire connected to the
rod, remove the wires which are red and green respectively, and the
positive and negative poles would not be mistaken.
Replace electrothermal tube: remove the wire, demount the active
cutter seat, take out electrothermal tube. The doing order is as above.
(3)Install and change vertical sealing thermocouple: as Idem.
(4)Install and change horizontal sealing heating tube: horizontal heating
tube install in the horizontal jaws.
(5)Install and change horizontal sealing heating thermocouple.: as
idem.
(6) Adjust cutter: when the cutter can’t cut off packing film because off its
big friction or carved trace, a copper sheet of thickness 0.05-0.10mm is
needed to be put under the cutter, when loose the two screws, at the same
time heat the pattern cutter, push the cutter out horizontal with a screw
driver. Adding spacer, would pay attention to spacer’s position, where is the
cave of the cutter, and underlaid both cutters uniformly.
(7)Inspect and test solid state relay
Connect the circuit as follow, the switch K is on, when the bulb should be
bright. K is off, the bulb is not. If it is not as above, the relay is damaged.

1. Menu key: press it to switch kinds of menus.
