establishing power generation projects, cement factories, petrochemical utilities, electrical
substations as well as Oil & Gas establishments. We are glad and proud of our effective and
sustainable partnership with various steel structure manufacturers. Furthermore, we are
keen on developing our mechanical erection capabilities to serve all projects and to enable
our clients with complete turnkey basis for both civil works as well as electromechanical
installations.
BENI SUEF COMBINED CYCLE
4800 MW POWER PLANT
Managed by SIEMENS – ELSEWEDY consortium, Benisuef Combined-Cycle Power
Plant is the largest power plant in Egypt and MENA region with a capacity of 4800 MW.
Fortunately, RME was selected to carry out a great role in the construction process. For
a period of 18 months, RME was responsible for all the civil works of the power blocks
in addition to the civil, architectural and MEP works for the utilities and facilities in the
site as well as GIS area.
EXTENSION OF ATTAQA POWER PLANT
Every project has its own challenge. The challenge facing RME in executing the civil works of ATTAQA 650 MW simple cycle gas
turbine units is the time-frame set for such a huge project. However, RME proved itself capable of completing the project within such
time- frame of 5 months after it has put the mile stones of the project in record time.
GABAL ELZAYT JICA WIND
FARM 220MW
Continuing cooperating with international EPC contractors, RME has cooperated with
Gamesa as their sub-contractor for carrying out the civil works package of the wind farm
project financed by JICA with a capacity of 220MW. Gamesa is assigned to perform
the supply, installation, commissioning, start up and testing for 110 G80 wind turbine
generators with 2 MW of nominal power and 60 m hub height on turnkey basis.
EZZ DRI PLANT
DANIELI is ranked among three largest suppliers of equipment and plants to the metal industry
in the world. After a stoppage for about three years, DANIELI had to be so careful upon choosing
the reliable contractor to successfully resume and complete the construction of EZZ DRI plant.
Therefore, and based on its international fame as one of the most accurate contractors, DANIELI
chose RME to act as the main contractor in charge of the project’s civil works. While DANIELI
was facing a challenge in completing the project around the table set for it, RME has proven
a good track record in achieving DANIELI standards in terms of resources allocation, Quality,
Safety working procedures and commitment to time tables. It is worth mentioning that the Plant
is located in Al Ein El Sokhna.
BMIC ASSUIT CEMENT FACTORY
Being known for its compliance with the highest standards of quality, RME was assigned as the subcontractor for the execution and
completion of the Building Materials Industries Company S.A.E. (BMIC) Cement plant located in Assiut, Egypt.
METRO ALGIERS MAINTENANCE
WORKSHOPS AND SUBSTATION
Based on its worldwide fame of excellence and proficiency, RME was entrusted with
the construction of the 125000m2 metro maintenance and garage complex in Algeria.
RME again proved itself professional by providing the highest quality and high-end
complexity of civil engineering.
CAIRO FESTIVAL CITY SUBSTATION
RME, in cooperation with ABB, takes pride in participating in the construction of the main substation for Cairo Festival City located in
New Cairo in addition to all auxiliary buildings.
ELSEWEDY CABLES FACTORY -
CV CABLES TOWER
Amongst our effective and long-term partnerships, stands EL SEWEDY group. RME has cooperated
with EL SEWEDY in many projects including, the Algerian manufacturing factory amongst many others.
Having a reliable presence in Algeria, RME could successfully complete the turnkey construction of EL
SEWEDY Cables factory, on an area of 50,000 m2, within only 10 months.
SWAG WINDMILL FACTORY
Egypt is well-known for being one of the most recognized countries to produce power from wind
plants, especially in the area of Zaafarana in El Ain El Sokhna. Therefore, the first Wind Mills tower
manufacturing facility was built in this area of El Ain El-Sokhna by the German Investor SWAG. From
our keenness to protect our country and help increase its prosperity and welfare, RME proudly worked
as the main contractor for the construction of the 15000m2 manufacturing unit in addition to all facilities
and utility buildings. RME was able to successfully complete the project in a period of 10 months. The
first production of the plant was in early 2011.
LOGISTICA WAREHOUSE
Logistica Warehouse is a logistics warehouse dedicated for pharmaceutical storage. Such kind
of storages requires special care and specific equipment during the construction time. Bearing
this in mind, RME took responsibility for constructing a warehouse on an area of 11,500 m2 with
15m height. Among this area, an area of 6,500 m2 will be dedicated for an air-conditioned Area
and 5000 m2 to serve as a cold store designed to work at temperature varies between -20 and
+5. The warehouse also includes a 7m-high rack store, machine, utilities building, water
tank and electrical substation.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The infrastructure is the cornerstone of any social and economic development
of a country. Knowing that, the Egyptian Government has recently directed its
focus to establishing and developing infrastructure networks across the Republic.
Accordingly, the Government started investing on infrastructure development
projects. In the same context, and from our deep keenness on the prosperity and
well-being of our country, we pay great deal of attention to such national projects.
Thanks to our deep-seated know-how and long experience in the construction
industry, we have carried out a number of national infrastructure projects across
the Arab Republic of Egypt and abroad.
‫‏‬MAHALA BRIDGE
Knowing how critical the selection of the companies on which Egypt’s development rely, the Egyptian
Armed Forces chose RME to carry out the construction of El Shun Bridge with a total of 950m length
and 12m width in a period of six months.
CONSTRUCTION AND FINISHES OF
MARASSI BRIDGES 3.4&5
Rapidly growing its good standing, RME was entrusted by EMAAR Misr with the construction of Bridges
3, 4 and 5 among a new bridges system developed by RME. The project is located at Marassi, North
Coast, where RME is responsible for all aspects of conducting, completing and ensuring the construction
of the three Bridges. The completion period is meant to be within 12 months, during which RME is
committed to the highest quality and safety standards.
MALL OF EGYPT BRIDGE
‫ ‏‬ME has been assigned by the armament forces for the construction of the direct bridge that access off Al Wahat highway that will

facilitate the traffic for this crowded junction to get in & out the mall of Egypt smoothly. The project total area is 20,800m2 and 1,810m
lengths.
NEW CAIRO CAPITAL BRIDGE
‫ ‏‬ontinuing in supporting our country development, RME has been selected by the

armament forces for the construction of the New Cairo Capital Bridge with a total of
105m length and 75m width.
CAIRO-ALEX ROAD BRIDGES
Being famed for high quality and dedication, and having acquired noticeable experience in the area of
bridges construction, RME has been selected to carry out the construction of 4 crossing bridges at Cairo-
Alexandria Road. This project is considered amongst the biggest transportation projects in Egypt. Thus,
it requires highly professional qualifications and expertise to achieve the best results.
ALGERIA NEW AUTOROUTE
Based on its the formidable fame even outside the Egyptian market, RME has been contracted by Cojaal,
a Japanese large consortium, to carry out construction of 46 bridges and 8 culverts in Setif, Algeria.
Despite the aggressive geographical nature of the project’s location, RME proved itself qualified by
successfully executing the project within 30 months and at the highest quality standards and safety
regulations.
SOKHNA PORT-BASIN 1 - IRON OXIDE
PELLETS TERMINAL CIVIL WORKS (A)
In cooperation with DP World, RME has been awarded the turnkey construction of the
iron oxide Pellets Terminal. This Import Terminal is needed in order to import the raw
materials of Iron Oxide Pellets. The terminal will be located in Sokhna Port and the
project execution period is to last for 7 months.
ALOULA INDUSTRIAL PARK INFRASTRUCTURE
NETWORKS
‫ ‏‬ME is contracted for the underground utilities for AL OULA INDUSTRIAL PARK project located in 6th of

October city, including water, drainage, irrigation, electricity and road network.
REHABILITATION & CONSTRUCTION OF
MAPUTO CITY COASTAL PROTECTION
In cooperation with MCA Mozambique, M.CoutoAlves, S.A & M. CoutoAlves, Vias, S.A, RME was assigned
to carry out the execution of rehabilitation and construction of Maputo city coastal protection. This project
was concerned with obtaining new configuration system in Maputo’s South Coast as well as developing
criterion for in both south and south west zones. RME’s role was represented in the construction of 7
groynes system, nourishments of sand between groynes, toe of protection and rehabilitation of existing
sea walls, groynes and revetments.
MARASSI AND UPTOWN
CAIRO INFRASTRUCTURE
WORKS ( EMAAR )
In recognition of RME’s proficiency, reliability and excellence,
RME is acting as the main contractor for the construction
of several water structures for Emaar in Uptown Cairo and
Marassi north coast on a turnkey basis. RME scope included
the construction of several 5000 as well as 10000m3 tanks
in addition to several pumping stations and complete plants
for the sewage, water & irrigation networks. EMAAR, along
with TURNER, the Project Manager, described these
projects, RME in charge of, as one of the most successful
parts of the whole projects carried out and completed in
time and within the agreed upon budget.
NAGAA HAMMADI BARRAGE
At the very beginning of its operations, RME was able to leave a positive impression as a highly qualified
contractor. RME was sub-contracted by Vinci-Bilfinger Berger and OCI JV to carry out civil construction
works for one of the largest water structure projects operated by the Egyptian Government in cooperation
with KFW.

commercial and special facilities that comply with local & international markets’
standards. In addition, we excel in conducting projects of any size and anywhere
in the MENA region.
NEW GIZA UNIVERSITY
Succeeding in executing the civil and electromechanical works in Phase 1 of the construction
of New Giza University in the highest quality and within the time-frame agreed upon, RME was
assigned with the same works for Phase 2. It is worth mentioning that the areas of both phases,
1 and 2, are 20,000m2 and 20,660 m2, respectively, while the project completion periods for both
phases were, 8 and 10 months.
POINT 90 MALL
Located in New Cairo, Point 90 Mall Project was assigned to RME to carry out all construction tasks
and works due to its wide-fame as an experienced professional contractor.
WESTOWN ENTERTAINMENT HUB
RME is entrusted with the execution and completion of this project. Acting as the main contractor, RME
is further responsible for remedying any defects related to the civil works, MEP and infrastructure
works pertaining to Westown Entertainment Hub.
TWIN TOWERS NEW
ADMINISTRATION & SHOW
ROOM BUILDINGS
Arabian Group is one of the new Egyptian developers established in
1990. For its very first investment, Arabian Group choose RME as their
main contractor to carry out the construction of a new administration &
retail complex. The project is located in 6th of October city and include
TOYOTA show rooms, two new administration buildings in addition to
two medical center towers. The project total duration was 36 months.
PKG# 53 VILLAGE F (WEST) “SIERRAS”
PHASE I – UPTOWN CAIRO
‫ ‏‬wned by the well-known Emaar, Uptown Cairo Project is a world-class residential

complex established in Egypt. Believing on RME’s wide experience and professional
know-how, RME was appointed to carry out the construction works of Village
F (West) “Sierras”, Phases 2 and 3 on a total area of 65,000 m2 comprising 11
buildings.
MAXIM MALL
‫ ‏‬ocated in New Cairo, Maxim Mall is considered one of the greatest shopping

centers in Cairo. It is established on an area of 40,000m2 and encompasses 400
stores including hypermarkets, food courts, international cafes and restaurants.
RME was proud to carry out the electromechanical works and finishing of this large
establishment.
(M) PORIUM
RME undertakes the construction works of Civic Center and Pool Facility of Villages F, M, L, K & J
(west) at Marassi, North Coast. In this project, RME is responsible for the turnkey construction of facility
management building, Mosque, Retail Shopping Building, Generator Room, four (4) Pool Facility Buildings
and Anchor Shop. Furthermore, RME is entrusted with all infrastructure works, Roads, Parking Areas as
well as fences and gates.
THE STRIP SHOPPING MALL
‫ ‏‬ME is proud to act as the turnkey contractor for the Strip Mall. This project is owned by

AUTOVILLE, which is a unique one-stop destination for car enthusiasts and their families. It is
located on Dahshour Road and beautifully designed by renowned architects Skidmore, Owings
& Merrill LLP. The projects’ period was 16 months.
CAIRO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
BUILDING 2
Being renowned for high quality, experience and excellence in providing construction
services for vast projects, particularly national landmark projects, RME was assigned with the
construction of Buildings A&C, Bridge Construction, Connecting tunnel between terminals &
Air side infrastructure works. Subcontracted by LIMAK INSAAT (a Main Contractor for TB2
Project), RME has proven a remarkable record achieving advanced level in terms of quality
and time.
CAIRO AMERICAN COLLEGE
Located in the heart of MAADI, Cairo American College is a world-
class education facility. Its environment encourages the students
to express their opinions, passions and showcase their talents.
Believing in the importance of raising fearless generations who are
able to contribute to the development of our society, RME acted as
the turnkey contractor in the completion of the new middle school
and library-building project in a period of 13 months.
THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
OF PAKISTAN
Internationally, RME undertook the construction of the International School
of Pakistan. The School is to be built on an area of 23,000 m2 and it is
to encompass 5 buildings on a built up area of 16,000 m2. The buildings
comprise nursery and elementary school, high and middle schools for girls
and boys, auditorium and library building, gym and prayer hall, in addition to
playgrounds, utilities and landscapes.
HYPER ONE MARKET – ELSOLYMANIA
‫ ‏‬eing one of the mega FMCG chains in Egypt, RME is proud to carry out the civil and electromechanical

works for the construction of Hyper One Solimanya. RME understands the importance of time to such a
great store as Hyper One, thus, we are highly committed to the delivery date of the project at the highest
quality of construction works. The project is located in Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road and is built on a total
area of 30,000 m².
N,DJAMENA GRAND HOTEL
Continuing its global expansion, RME has been awarded the civil works for
N’djamena Hotel located in the capital of The Republic of Chad. The project
encompasses 5 different zones including the Hotel, Service Building, Reception
Hall, Conference Room and the Political Center. The Project is built up on a total
area of 38,000 m2 coping with the most modern techniques, RME carried out the
project using precast in-situ beams and slabs.
EEE TOWERS, EKO ATLANTIC
ISLAND (NIGERIA)
Internationally, extending our long term partnership with CFE, RME is
assigned by CFE to cooperate in the construction of four towers in Eko
Atlantic Island, Nigeria.
CARREFOUR CAIRO FESTIVAL CITY

ALGIERS METRO CONTROL BUILDING
Based on their previous fruitful cooperation in Egypt, Vinci has developed its sustainable
relation with RME by appointing RME as its sole subcontractor in the construction
operations of this project. RME was assigned with the construction of the control

Algiers Metro.
PORT GHALEB MAIN MOSQUE
Port Ghaleb is considered as one of the most well-known luxurious touristic projects in the Red Sea,
Egypt. Among its projects in the area of communities, RME was entrusted with the construction of
the main mosque in such new community which it has successfully completed in the highest quality
and according to the atheistic standards. RME was the main contractor of this project as it was
responsible for all civil, MEP and finishing works.
Monument restoration
& structural repair
ROWAD Modern Engineering has special dedication to monuments
restoration and history preservation services. Throughout it growth journey,
RME has left its noticeable mark in the field of historic building restoration.
At RME, we understand that monuments restoration is a very critical process
that requires special care and attention, thus, we pride ourselves on our
extensive expertise in various monument restoration areas. Our services
encompass stabilization, excavation, and cleaning of sites, risk control and
management in ageing buildings as well as the comprehensive restoration of
different kinds of structures including wooden, marble and metal.

restored. It is worth mentioning that RME has worked on the restoration of 15
antiquity sites so far.
EL EINY SCHOOL & MOSQUE
Located behind El-Azhar Mosque and established in 1411, El Einy School & Mosque is an antique building comprising a mosque and
a school for El-Azhar student. Contently, RME took responsibility for repairing such historical building which required restoration works
from several aspects. Among such works, RME was required to protect this establishment and prevent its collapse by injecting its walls
with a new mortar, which RME carefully selected to be compatible with the original materials of the building. In addition, RME was
accountable for restoring the building to its first condition as well as many other responsibilities including restoration and treatment of
decorated and non-decorated timber, grout restoration, metal, marble and stone materials repair in addition to the replacement of the
damaged stones with other new good ones.
EL SET WASEELA HOUSE
Located in El- Azhar district, El Set Waseela House was established in 1664 and belonged to Waseela Khatun. This architectural piece
of art is divided into two parts from the inside, one comprising the reception and the other including the internal rooms. Proudly, RME
has successfully restored the whole building to its original condition displaying the different architectural art that distinguish this building.
Furthermore, RME was able to fill the undesirable spaces, repair the damaged parts, stones, red bricks, decorated timber as well as
the decorated ceiling.
AHMED IBN SHAABAN MOSQUE
Located in El-Batneya area in Old Cairo, this beautiful mosque was established
by Judge Ahmed Hafiz Pacha who ruled Egypt during the period from 1590 until
1584. Through several steps, RME was able to restore the great building to its
first condition. These steps included restoration of stones, timber doors and
windows, iron windows, repair of marble columns, granite columns as well as
the decorated ceiling.
