 GENERAL
BTI pressed steel sectional water tank panels are manufactured in accordance
to British Standard BS 1564 : 1975. The tank panel when assembled provide a
convenient means of bulk storage of water subject to static head.

MATERIALS
Mild steel plates: BS EN 10025-3:2004 or SS400

DIMENSION OF PANEL
1220mm x 1220mm or 1000mm x 1000mm

FLANGES OF PLATES
The plates are cold pressed with a combined double flange at an angle of 45o and
900 to the face of the plate on all four sides.

COATING ON PLATES & LINING

• Hot-dipped galvanized to ISO 1461 :1999, bitumen painted and fusion bonded
epoxy powder coating.
• High density polyethelene (HDPE) internal lining.

ROOF COVERS
Pressed sectional panel, pitched and flat-sheet cover.

LADDERS
Internal and external ladders of hot-dipped galvanized, bitumen painted,
aluminium and stainless steel.

LEVEL INDICATOR
Mechanical of cat and mouse type.
