 SP often says this connotation about krsna niti in his small books that christiantity came with two
words krsna and niti and when we put together, it becomes krsnaniti, it becomes christianity.
 Especially todays day and age morality paramo understand and take guidance.
 We all deal with dilemas in this all this fears - in family fears, what is right and which times and in
work places we face dilemas of how to manage the careers and we also living in society that we
concern about growth and well being of nation.
 Lord Rama is maryada purushottam - He came because to estd cores of conduct. Whereas krsna is
lila purushottam - prema parayana
 Quite often cores of conduct where krsna lived by is not so clear and in even in many times in the
life of devotees.
lord krishna's life is indeed something that we need to learn and emulate of course we we adore and we
worship and we relish all the all the sweet pastimes that he does but apart from that divine sweetness
that he shows through his pastimes there is tremendous learning for these three spheres
 
 Mama vartmanuvartante manusyah partha sarvasah - For if I ever failed to engage in carefully
performing prescribed duties, O Pārtha, certainly all men would follow My path.
 
 All this three are imp to harmonize especially in krsnas life we can see how krsna as harmonize it
without sabatoging other
 
 utsīdeyur ime lokāna kuryāṁ karma ced aham - If I did not perform prescribed duties, all these
worlds would be put to ruination. I would be the cause of creating unwanted population, and I
would thereby destroy the peace of all living beings.
 
 SP writes in purport - Varṇa-saṅkara is unwanted population which disturbs the peace of the
general society. In order to check this social disturbance, there are prescribed rules and regulations by
which the population can automatically become peaceful and organized for spiritual progress in life.
When Lord Kṛṣṇa descends, naturally He deals with such rules and regulations in order to maintain the
prestige and necessity of such important performances. The Lord is the father of all living entities, and
if the living entities are misguided, indirectly the responsibility goes to the Lord. Therefore, whenever
there is general disregard of regulative principles, the Lord Himself descends and corrects the society.
We should, however, note carefully that although we have to follow in the footsteps of the Lord, we
still have to remember that we cannot imitate Him.
 When we learn from Lord then our life will become wonderful and smooth out of everything
confusion that comes.
 There is big debate in this world about where does morality comes from - and the most common
perception is that it is set of people that comes and decide and this is called consequential or united
method and follow that.
 Subjective morality - In this not everyone thinks as of others therefore there is conflicts.
 So, it can happen with society, family, nation when we just try to decide what is imp and proper and
as long as there is local agreements that is fine but because we are in living in global setup then our
morality are questioned.
 Many times we don’t have proper answers then this three conducts seen to be location specific and
not value based or sentimental based.
  Objective morality - where moral codes comes from sky abodes. Just like computer dept have
internal network and they need to connect with one server and they can interact and intranet is where
people can setups their own rules and regulation that how we use internet.
 There is common notion of killing like germans many jews were killed and all agrees that it is bad
and serving someone food to some one is agreed that it is good.
 There are something globally accepted but still question is come if the germans felts that way then
how could they kill?
 Objective and subjective are always in conflict and to understand this
 The purpose of course is not just to have objective laws that are globally accepted and noone can
deny them.
 Principles are like walls if you tries to break them, you break youself
 There are situational morality -
 
 Lord krsna comes in this world and does all pastimes in a smooth and wonderful way and the most
sweetest pastimes are krsnas pastimes in the age of 10 and he just was enchanting everyone through
His flute and monitored vrindavana
 And He shows us how should be our family values and relationship
 With His flute He enchants.
 And krsna educates in BG that how in times of crisis lord krsna given this msg of BG to arjuna and
the main crests and advice that lord gives to humanity
 And the whole process we understand the BG then nothing else we need in our life especially
principles and values
 Lord doesn’t enchants and educates, but He also eradicates
 it is not that he just through his love, he tries to mesmerize through his education he tries to give
knowledge and enlightenment but also if there are elements that need punishment.
 He also doesn't budge back and therefore all over the world lord krishna's whole strategy and that’s
the way he dealt with the society, family, etc is amazingly apprieciated
 Nobody is as broad and as complete cognizant of He being Lord - He given us a moral way doesn’t
sabotage any other principles
 There are so many leaders in the past and present they tries to guide human society.
 As krsna says in BG yad yad acharati sreshta - as great people act common people follows.
 Some may be thinking prabhu - hum toh nation nhi chalate, ghar chalate but this are the principles
can make you forward as a team or leader or help someone else.
 This three aspect of society, our own progress and family are like tree and this are not different
compartment of our lives, but there are different components of our lives and we cannot neglect
anyone of the aspect
 And this roots of the family BG can nourish because of the strong family values and wherever family
BG is strong and with values, their productive of work is much more stronger and more
 And strong roots of family values brings a good supportive system in being productive human beings
 And crown is fruts is the contribution that benefits to the society in that supportive lifestyles.
 We cannot neglect anyone of them
 Mahabharat means. Maha means great and bharat means india. Therefore great india.
 Vyas muni explains this MB, he is going to elaborate and explains 7 different about mahas of this
book.
 
a. House of kurus - starts from yayati - and he wants to engage his oldage with one of his son yadu
thought it was unwise and it was wise to accept that it was adharma to exhange youth to father
 And acharya said that because krsna wants to appear, he didn’t want to delay that app
of lord.
 But kuru immediately agreed to please his father and yadu not given the kingdom
although he was the elder and puru was made the king and because he had pleased.
  There was a change of selfishness started with and it seems to percolate and lord came
and remove this misunderstandings about one care and ones own pleasure for the
benefit of society
 Krsna comes in yadava lineaage and lord rama come also in that lineage with the same
principles puru exhibited
b. Virtuousness of Gandhari -
 There are endless debates that that can happen and that's why mahabharata is so interesting
and and something is so great and even something so great, there can still be faults and if
one doesn't rectify that aspect that their greatness can eventually cause a great disaster
c. Constancy of Kunti -
 all this trouble happened in her life but inspite of that her faith and her devotion and
dedication to kunti
and one of the great amazing things that is seen in her daughter-in-law - draupadi
 when draupadi was lamenting when they were exiled that one of the main things draupadi
said that one of her main anguish is that she is missing kunti maharani
 This is the great quality of draupati and as well as the great quality of kunti devi is motherly
love
d. Divinity of Krsna - Krsna is been glorified in many chapters of SB and rajasuiya yanjya is like
showing divinity of lord.
e. Dharma of Pandavas -
 Aho kashta aho nyama - although they were complete loyal, followers of dharma, although
they had a lot of debates an ddifference of opinion - they have always followed the
dharmaraj yudhistir and must be followed at the expence of integrity and modesty and
chastity and welfare
f. Evilness of Kauravas
 Every drama needs the villain that suspense and from that kauravas we should avoid
all the lower tendencies based which can spoil us .
 Unknowingly, we may support the evil kauravas which are in others
 
 Lord makes the entries in MB and each of the convos - some of His vocals and also gave priority and
schedule with dealing with others
 Lord with His examples He taught us -
 Draupadi Swayamvara -
o Krsna entry happened when draupadi's swayamvara till that He was in vrindavan.
o All the kashatriya was became angry and arrogant and they told how can this brahmana
becomes this attempt? So one of the brahmana they started cheer and out of the power and focus
brahmana can do anything.
o And draupadi brought garland and as pandavas were living and its impossible for all
kshatriyas to accept this, so all this khsatriya come together saying that this is cheating and they
tries to stop from taking draupadi.
o And first time krsna comes in action and stopped all the kshatriyas and said - brahmana had
won the princess's hand fairly.
o Krsna defends the deeds of the pandavas which is fairly done and krsna stopped the kshatriya
and krsna came and stop all this kshatriya and helped them to go into their house.
o So sharing equally doesn’t mean that equal portion and this many times equal portion seen as
equal opportunity of what is needed for the person is to be healthy and happy is to be given and
not what is beyond something which they cannot able to handle it.
o Krsna said - I feel that the pandavas should return, but we must do whatever drupada decides
o Pandavas didn’t asked this issue to krsna and the understanding is that when we want to take
advice you just cannot ask anyone or just because something is great and you have relationship.
o Krishna's advice to the pandavas that He didn’t give it and he didn’t touched the topic
unless they share it up.
o Even in BG Krsna waited paitiently when arjuna totally emptied himself and took the shelter
of krsna and Krsna given advice.
 o Till the person is fully with them, krsna wouldn’t give it His advice.
o Don’t just be a free advicer but invest in people and really care for them when they feel that
care and that need
o Krsna comes to the pandavas again and again and building that relationship
o As krsna spends lots of time with arjuna, He gives advise to arjuna that why don’t you kidnap
my sister - subhadra you really liked her and they both escaped
o Krsna says - Arjuna, carry my beautiful sister away forcibly, for who knows she might
choose at swayamvara.
o What is poison - anything that you take that you cannot handle that is poison and anything
you can accept and assimilate that becomes nectar.
o For a greater cause He had to do sacrifice. Just like in the game of chess there us pawn or
horse is sacrificed for a greater good of the game. Similarly, there was a temp sacrifice was done
by this animals and the indra and devatas became pleased and agni was in back and all the
sacrifices were successful and everybody became happy and they wanted to give blessings
o And indra asked krsna - what boon do you want ? - Krsna asked that I want blessings that
may my friendship with arjuna be eternal and lord is eternal but still he feels His relationship
with His devotees become eternal.
o Arjuna asked to indra for the second time - Let me fulfil whatever krsna wants and that
friendship b/w both was two way and their relationship becomes strong
o Follow Him till half a yojna -
o Pandu's wish -
 Naradmuni asked pandavas were staying in indraprastha and narad muni explained
and how is the pandavas doing and how they are doing.
 Who is the wise person - wise king is the one who is the king of his senses and they
are not under his subjugation and if they are not under his control then no matter how much
u try to conquer because of the weakness you will be caught
 The first qualification for becoming king is his mind and senses must be control and
also he must be wishing for the welfare of humanity
 Whenever issues comes then he immediately not reject or accept them but he reflects
and considers 3 things.
 His own strength - Like all of us we wonder where should I invest my energy
for what we have.
 Investing things is imp things.
 Before we try to conquer or develop our prosperity is that we need to have
strong senses and mind. So sadhana is imp.
 Many times, we tries to negotiation that our whole mind is going on that as we
are chanting but we need to take out our time as yudhistir maharaja was seeing and
krsna showing
 Spiritual life and success is not opposite, but they supports each other
 
a. His strength and resource - what strength and resources he has and if you don’t have this then we
cannot able to do
b. If you want to achieve something one must consider time and place to act.
c. He must have income and expenditure as far as needed
 
 3 mistakes in advice givers -
 WE need to take advice from others.
 When we take advice from others often people give wrong advice
 Lord's all the time advice is He always gives owness of implementing the advice to return
back.
 They really couldn’t able to see the true hazards of such an undertaking.
 Especially during a rajasuyi yajya was have much investment that can make a small kingdom
or great empire
 There is truce b/w kauravas and pandavas is -
  Just out of great love they really don’t see is it worth it and we don’t allow our dear
and near one not to do things and we advise that person to do those things which is
not hazardous for him.
 Out of self-interest - they see that giving that advice I would be benifitted and
because of that they gives wrong advice
 They don’t see what benefits them as what course to follow
 Yudhistir maharaj wants to take advice with krsna - for taking advice from anyone
around me especially this subject matter
 Krsna's advice -
 Sometimes our friends or relatives are saying that this is the beneficial and this is just
doing as self interest and that time krsna gives instead of giving perspectives based on
what conditions of yudhistir and He considered need of society and need of ability.
 This two must be match - society and ability
 Krsnas advice them to expand and become the emperor of the earth's planet because currently
earth is full of king rulling by adharma.
 And adharma is very prominent especially jarasandha, shishupal, etc. so, there is need of
society for a person like you but one must see the strength and resources.
 Strength and resources is there - support of yadhavas and drupada maharaja
 Krsna explains that there is a great kingdom especially purujit, yadavas for support.
 And krsna adviced if you does this sacrifices then jarasandha will vanquished.
 When enemy has the tendency and when you see evil then 3 things never be neglected -
disease, loan and fire, and if you neglect then its grow
 6 different aspects so that one can prosper on ones own acheivement without compromising
dharma and spiritual activities.
