Evanthia Stavrou BIO

Evanthia Stavrou is an arts & cultural program manager at Fix in Art, an upcycling and origami artist with over
6 years of experience in creative, independent event and project production. She has acted as a creative producer
and event director for international cultural events, specializing in community driven arts, music, events and
awareness campaigns. She has conceptualized and delivered, festivals, summits and strategic campaigns within
her capacity as the president of Fix in Art since 2016 as part of alternative and mainstream festivals.

With her background in corporate business management, in combination with her academic background in
Pharmacy and academic research methods, she is able to approach creative entrepreneurship in an innovative
way , in total her experience in project management spans over 10 years. In her capacity as the president of Fix
In art since 2013 she has facilitated and steered large teams in complex and creative environments, she has
excellent interpersonal, communication and solution making abilities as well as highly developed system
thinking and collaborative governance approach.

From the beginning of her presidency she focused in facilitation international cultural exchange and developing
a creative exchange platform for creatives and artists, which also acted as the scouting and sourcing of creative
talent for projects and joint endeavors within the organization and in liaison with the local community. . She has
initiated collaboration bridges with academic institutions and creative spaces around the globe. (Maedborg
University (Sweden), UCLL (Belgium) , Leeds Beckett Univ (UK), L’oville (Italy) , Turku University (FI)
among others.

She has conceptualized and implemented In art Circus festivals, Sundays at Fix in Art Free Admission children
shows, In art Green Week festival, accredited the organization within the Erasmus for Young entrepreneurs
charter, European voluntary service charter & Erasmus InternshipShe has organized and curated events like In
art Cinema in liason with the local French Institute and Italian Institute. While planning , designing and
executing events from concept to completion she acts on a note of compassion, empathy and emotional
intelligence.

She has curated series of events and activities for local municipalities, and was in the creative team of the
1st Greek Opera Festival that took place in Thesaloniki in 2015.

Promoting non formal education and youth empowerement has been vital to Evita, as well as facilitating and
teaching creative thinking workshops, upcycling crafts while practicing inclusion.

As the president of Fix in Art , Evita plays a key role on on-site manager in charge of programming and
development, seeking and facilitating symbiotic partnerships, recruiting teaching artists, and spearheading
outreach for community activities, artist residents, student enrollment and publicity purposes.
