Mercedes EPC + WIS workshop software installation guide

First you will need to download all files from our website to a folder on your PC.

Files can be downloaded either by directly clicking on them or right click and select save as

On the left is browser EDGE, on the right is Internet explorer.

We recommend to use one of these browser for download. Chrome, Firefox, Opera work just as good, but he screens are a
bit different.
Save all the files to a folder of your choice. All files must be downloaded in the same folder. Make sure you have enough
space available.
You will have after the download is complete a folder like in the next image
Right click on 7-zip.zip and select Extract all

Extract it to a folder of your choice

Navigate to the folder where you extracted the 7-Zip and double click on 7-ZipPortable.exe
Once the programs open navigate to the folder where you downloaded the files from our website

DoubleClick on Merceres.7z.001

Select all the files in the archive and select Extract

Choose the location where you want the extraction and select OK
Wait for the process to finish.

After extraction is complete you will have the files as below

Once you have extracted the files you will need to Install VMware Player.

Double click on VMware-player-6.0.3-1895310.exe located in folder Installation Guide

Select Next

Select I accept the terms in the license agreement. Vmware player is free for personal use.

Select Next
Choose location for installation

Select next

Unthick Check for product updates on startup

Select next

Unthick Help improve Vmware Player

Select Next

Select Next
Select Continue

Select Finish
Now open Vmware player from your desktop or start menu

Click on Player > File > Open

Browse to the location where you extracted the DVD files.

You should be able to see Mercedes.vmx file

Select it and click on Open

Select Mercedes Virtual machine and then Click on Play virtual machine

Select I moved it

This is very important!!!

Select Remind Me Later

If you are prompted for Vmware tools update, select Never Remind Me

Wait for the Windows to load up

The EWA net webpage will start automatically

User: admin
Password: mercedes

Now you will have access to EPC and WIS database
