Einleitung

Alle 20 Gitarren-Arrangements von Band 3 haben den gleichen


Aufbau
6-seitigen Aufbau:

Seite 1
bringt eine kurze Einleitung zur Geschichte des folgenden Songs Basics
und zu den Besonderheiten meines Arrangements ftir Gitarre.
Es folgt ein Vorschlag frir eine Strumming- und eine Picking- Strumming + Picking-
Begleitung, mit den jeweils dazu passenden Akkorden. Begleitung

Seite 2
bringt denText des Liedes mitAkkordsymbolen. DerAufbau ent- Akkorde +Text
spricht genau dem Aufbau des Arrangements. ln einigen weni-
gen Fàllen habe ich auf eine Strophe oder die Wiederholung
eines Refrains verzichtet, um das Arrangement möglichst straff
zu halten.
Es ist möglich, mit diesen Akkorden und durch Mitlesen der Arrangement ftir
Takffolge auf der Textseite das Arrangement mit Strumming mehrere Gitarren
oder Picking zu begleiten und so die Besetzung auf mehrere
Gitarren zu erweitern.

Seite 3 und 4
stellt das Gitarren-Arrangement in Notenschrift vor mit detail- Noten
lierten Fingersatzangaben fur die rechte und linke Hand.

Seite 5 und 6
stellt das Gitarren-Arrangement in Tabulaturschrift vor. Tabulatur
lch habe eine Tabulaturschrift gewàhlt, die mit Pausen und
Notenbalken fËr Ober- und Unterstimme rhythmisch sehr genau
ist. Die wichtigsten Fingersatzangaben stehen ober- oder unter-
halb der Tabulaturzeilen in Klammer. Frir zusàtzliche
Fingersatzangaben kann der Notentext als Referenz herangezo-
gen werden.

Alle 20 Arrangements wurden von mir auf der beigelegten CD CD- Version
vollstàndig ei ngespielt.

Meine Arrangments in Band 3 der ,,Acoustic Pop Guitar Solos,, Leichte Spielbarkeit
stellen eine Balance zwischen Ieichter spielbarkeit und zufrie-
denstellendem Klang bzw. Groove dar und sollen vor allem
Freude beim Spielen bereítenl

,,Black Or White" war díe erste Single-Auskopplung aus Michael
Jacksons Album ,,Dangerous'/ erschienen im Jahr 1991. Das Lied inte-
grieft Elemente aus Dance Music, Rap und Hard Rock. Die Gitarre spielt
vor allem in den Rockteilen eine Rolle, besonders beim bertihmten lntro-
Riff,
Original und Riff stehen in E-Dur, fr.ir mein Arrangement habe ich D-Dur
gewàhlt. Das Riff kann man fast identisch wie in E-Dur spielen und der
Rest des Arrangements, wo oft Melodie, Bass, Akkorde und Perkussion
gleichzeitig gespielt werden sollen, funktioniert in D-Dur einfacher.
Die Begleitung steht in der Originaltonaft, ftir das Arrangement benö-
tigst du einen Kapodaster am 2. Bund, um dazuzupassen.
Die Noten mit x als Notenkopf beschreiben zwei Arten der String-
Percussion: 1. Eine Note im Bassbereich: Daumen-Klick, 2. Ganzer
Akkord nur mit x-Notenköpfen: String-Clicking mit p - i - m - a.

einem scheinbar eher uninspiriertenTag im Studio nahe dem Strand von

lm Glauben ein Demo aufzunehmen, spielte er alle lnstrumente selber,
arrangierte und editierte das Lied in Eigenregie. Genau in dieserVersion
erschien es und wurde einer der erfolgreichsten Hits des Jahres 2011.

Was mich begeisteft, ist das polyphone Zusammenspiel der beiden
Linien in Melodie und Bass, wie gemacht ftir ein Arrangement fÍir E
Fingerstyle bzw. klassische Gitarre. lch habe die Basslinie nicht immer
konsequent durchgespielt, um dasArrangement leicht spielbar zu halten

und den Dialog zwischen Melodie und Bass pràgnanter herauszuarbei-
ten.

Umso wichtiger ist es, die Pausen im Bass genau zu beachten (leere
Bàsse dàmpft der Daumen der rechten Hand).

Aus der eher uninspirierenden Ausgangssituation ist dank dieser beiden E
Meister die schöne Ballade ,,Stay" herausgekommen'
Obwohl ich keine Gitarrenversion von ,,Stay" kenne und auf der
Aufnahme Klavier das dominierende lnstrument ist, hat mich dieses

Lied vom ersten Hören an als Gitarren-lnstrumental interessiert. Es steht E
in A-àolisch und hat eine sehr reduzierte zweistimmige Struktur' Wie
gemacht frir die ,,klassische" Seite unseres lnstruments!

Éo passt meine Version auch wunderbar ftir die Nylonsaitengitarre' E
Hebe die Melodie gut heraus. Lasse die Melodietöne im 2. Teil der
Bridge ineinanderklingen, sodass ein runder Fingerpedaleffekt entsteht. E

Der schwedischen DJ Tim Bergling alias Avicii begann mit ,,Wake me tr
up" eine Reihe von Projekten mit internationalen Sàngern, wobei er
deren Musik seinen elektronischen Beats gegenuberstellte und teilwei- tr
se in Ubergàngen zu verschmelzen versuchte.
2013 beim Ultra Music Festival in Miami, wo Avicii mit Sànger Aloe E
Blacc und Gitarríst Mike Einziger zum ersten Mal das Lied aufftihfte, ver-
störte er noch das Publikum, das auf Abnicken eingestellt war. Darauf

folgte aber dann ein Welterfolg als Radio Edit. E
Mein Gitarren-Arrangement verbleibt in Akustik und Countrystil - der E
Elektronikteil (Solo) unterscheidet sich durch einen durchgehenden,
akkordisch gestrummten Beat mit dem Zeigefinger auf die Zàhlzeiten 2 E
und 4: sozusagen eine ,,Powerversion" des alten Carter-Pickings.
Zwei detaillierteTipps fr.ir diesen Abschnitt (,,SOLO"): E
Es hat sich bewàhrt, im 2.Takt einen ganzen C-Dur-Akkord zu greifen,
um bei diesen harten Akzenten nicht die leere h-Saite zu treffen. E
lm 4. Takt soll auf Zàhlzeit 2 der 3. Finger mit seiner Rrickseite die leere E
5. Saite dàmpfen, sodass das A nicht mitschwingen kann.

Originaltonart von ,,Wake Me Up" ist h-Moll. Um das Solo-Arrangement

Das Komponisten-Team von ,)A/recking Ball" wurde eigentlich zusam-
mengestellt, um einen Song frir Beyoncé zu schreiben, aber das Lied
landete beim ehemaligen Kinderstar Miley Cyrus, bekannt geworden
als Darstellerin von Hannah Montana.
Miley benr.itzte ,)Mrecking Ball" fur einen lmagewechsel - nicht nur auf
musikalischer Ebene, wofur sie im Video nackt auf einer Abrissbirne
schwingt.

Mein Arrangement bleibt eine Pop-Ballade. Man kann Melodie von Vers
und Refrain auf der Gitarre wunderbar in eine Akkordzerlegung inte-
grieren.

Der norwegische Komponist Rolf LOvland komponierte dieses Lied nach
einem Text des lren Brendan Graham ftir das Begràbnis seiner Mutter.
Mittlerweile gibt es hundeÍte Coverversionen - Josh Groban machte das
Lied in den USA, die GruppeWestlífe in England bekannt.
Wie man an den Begleitakkorden gut sehen kann, wandeÍt der Refrain
des Liedes in vielenVersion immer höher, nach E-Dur, F-Dur. ln meinem
Arrangement bin ich in D-Dur geblieben. lm zweiten Teil wird die
Melodie eine Oktave höher gespielt.
