Pakistan is at 8th number in expoting textile products in Asia.
Share of textile industry in Pakistan GDP 8.5%.
45%labour's force is employed by this industry.
There are 1200 ginning and 400 spinning units in Pakistan.

SUGAR INDUSTRY
In 1947 only 2 sugar industries were present in Pakistan but now it is
increased to the 106.
Pakistan is at 15th number in sugar production in the world.
1 million labour is employed by sugar industry.
Products of sugar industry :
Main products : White sugar, Brown sugar
Some by products are Bagas, Paper, Cardboard and Ethanol.
