Trivani
198 South Main Street
Springville, UT 84663

Dear Trivani:

It is with enormous gratitude that we send this letter.

Since February 2008, Trivani Foundation has aligned with Sustainable Cambodia (SC) in operating
and growing the Kravanh Bright Futures Center (KBFC) school and outreach education program here
in Pursat Province in central, rural Cambodia. SC has never had a better or more dependable
sponsor, and the program Trivani has made happen is amazingly effective, changing the lives of
more than 850 children. It could never have happened without Trivani.

KBFC has been growing for three years thanks to Trivani, and now serves more than 640 students in
its Outreach program, bringing education to children from poor rural families who are too far from
the main school to otherwise access education, (providing dormitory rooms and food during the
school week) and another 235 students who are directly enrolled in the main KBFC school, taking
supplemental classes such as math, English, physics, chemistry, Khmer, biology, computers and
internet. The children also plant gardens to supplement the food availability of the center, increasing
their ability to become self sustaining. In total more than 850 students are now attending the school
or Outreach program.

Sustainable Cambodia’s unique model, under which only native Cambodians are employed as paid
staff, and all international officers, directors and consultants are unpaid volunteers, not only
ensures that 100% of funding goes directly into its programs, but provides substantial financial
leverage. Trivani has supplied nearly all the funding to the program since its inception.

KBFC, through Trivani Foundation, are committed to changing and improving the children and
parents’ lives, using a true empowerment model. SC plays a very important role in community
development projects, empowering families to improve their home life, while Trivani Foundation’s
support of KBFC has allowed it to focus on improving the quality of education for the children, a truly
long-term model of self-sustaining empowerment. The children get to live in peace and security with
access to education, and the opportunity to succeed and to develop their full potential

Sustainable Cambodia is a Rotary-supported nonprofit organization working to help the residents of Cambodian
villages create a sustainable quality of life. We do not simply give aid to the villagers. Instead, we help them build
wells, irrigation systems and schools, and train them in agriculture and vocations, empowering and enabling them
to create positive and measurable change in their villages. Sustainable Cambodia is registered in Cambodia as an
NGO and in the USA as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. Please visit our website at

Trivani has made a world of difference to the rural children of Pursat province. Children from very
poor families who would otherwise be faced with dropping out of school, or never getting an
opportunity to go to school, and now taking classes every day and learning subjects and skills they
could barely have dreamed of before Trivani began this work with us. In addition, the children are
provided study materials and bicycles to help them. There is a Reading Center, a computer lab, and
the students have the opportunity to earn university scholarships, all because of Trivani!

We cannot thank Trivani enough for its instrumental help in starting and maintaining this wonderful
program that will continue to change the lives of hundreds of young people in this developing
country.

Thanks for everything that Trivani has made possible.

Yours in Service above Self,

Hing Dimang, Sorn Soknay, Susan Mastin & Richard Allen
