ESSAY. Explain in 100 words or less why you want to run for the position and the key points of your platform.

I want to run for the position of Cluster Head, first of all because I want to prove myself as capable to
lead the cluster. I have only been in position for 3 weeks (as of this writing) and I feel that I can still
make a difference in ICR if I were given a fresh full term. I have come from the ranks of the ICR orgs and
I feel that I know what we are capable of, what we can do. I will run on the platform of cooperation and
assertion. Cooperation among the three orgs along with the Council of Organizations, because I have
felt that the 3 orgs have been looking for increased cooperation with one another. I also will run for
assertion, as ICR has lots of capacity to be great, all it needs is to show its true identity, one I hope
which we will be able to do as a cluster if reelected.

PLEDGE

I, Ramon Theodore A. De Guzman , attest to the facts contained in this Certificate of Candidacy and in all

I have submitted to the COA Commission on Elections.

I swear to uphold the rules stipulated in the COA Electoral Code and by the COA Commission on Elections with full
awareness that the violation of the said rules would result to possible sanctions as stipulated in the COA Electoral Code.

It is my sincere intention to promote a free, honest, and clean election.

Central Board Elections 2011-2012: Electoral Form

You are allowed to have more than four (4) Main Points. USE PROPER FORMAT. Strictly
ONE (1) LINE ONLY for each Main Point and NO MORE THAN SEVEN (7) LINES for the Details.
Note: A sentence does not automatically correspond to one line.

1) Main Point:
Putting Relations in Inter Cultural Relations.

Details:
There are only 3 organizations under the Inter Cultural Relations Cluster going towards the same goal, yet there are
only a few venues for the three orgs to work together. As Cluster Head, I wish to provide avenues to make sure that
ALAC, ASEC and Celadon will be able to work together. I believe that if they are thrown together in the same
situation, then they will be able to express themselves and be able to assert their own organizational identity.

2) Main Point:
Asserting ICR’s Identity

Details:
Again, ICR is the smallest cluster in the Council of Organizations, and I believe that ICR has a boatload full of
capabilities to assert the cluster’s main point. I plan to take the strengths of each org and be able to use them in order
to promote our cluster’s identity.
