What is meant from the word “Globalization” and how has it affected you personally?
Globalization is a shift to have an interdependent world economy. It is actually a process where
business starts to operate around the globe. Companies share their products to the world. Countries
use the biggest market which is the world. Globalization has facets which are Globalization of
Marketing and Globalization of Production. The Globalization of Market cites about making or
combining it as one market for the world, could also be called as the global market. In the other hand,
the globalization of Product cites about outsourcing goods or services improve worldwide economy.
Moreover, without globalization, I would say that my personal life will never be the same. The things I
have right now may not be here. Like gadgets, If we don’t have the gadgets or machines created with
technology that most of us are using in school or even in our workplace, the tasks we need to do
would take a lot of time to be done. Just like communicating with other people, It became faster
because of the products that they were created and being sold.They made it easier for us to buy what
we want or even the things we need just by clicking or tapping it from our laptops or smart phones.
Globalization has actually helped us improve the way we live.

acceleration of globalization? Why do you think so?
There are 2 Drivers of Globalization, Decline barriers to the free flow of goods, services and capital
and The Technological Change. Technological Change had contributed more to accelerate
globalization. Since the change begun the speed of transportation was made more faster and it was
actually cheaper. The internet had also helped, it is a huge help specially with small or starting
businesses such as Small Medium Enterprise since they could be viewed or seen online with the large
companies. Large companies could also save a lot of time and have an easier way for them to gather
information or data from their branches/outlets around the globe. It would also give them more
chance to advertise their products by simply making a short appearance online. Because of the
advance technology life had been much more easier and it helped us to have a great quality of life.

Why do you think global economy is in a constant state of change? Are there consequences or
benefits to such changes? Explain and cite a personal experience as an example.
The Global Economy would be in a state of constant change since different nation also develops
through time. After years of developing the developing nation or nations could be the one who
dominates. Yes, I think there would be great benefits for them specially when they reach the top. Yet,
there will be a time that they would also go down and the other country would rise unless they could
maintain it.
