Difference between Egyptien and Algerian
Effect of colonalization and occupation

 The british occupation of egypt started from 1882 till 1923- after
Fraser expedition which faced a great resistance from egyptien lead to its
retreating. While The French colonalization to Agleria from 1830till
1962- the main reason for it was the expelling of the french ambassador
from the palace of the ruler of algeria.
After the arrival of French forces, they started to ingrain
divergence between Algerian citizens they wanted to make algeria center
of spreading christinity. So First step to change the whole culture of
Algeria was to destroy the language. Destroying language was the main
phase of destroying the current doctrine, especially for muslims citizens.
So French regime started with announcing arabic and Amazigh language
as foreign langague in Algeria, and that French language is the official
language of Algeria. This reflected upon all sectors of Algeria. French
realised that language is the best way to change the mentality of any
country; As language will erase history which will give the opportunity to
write colonizer own history, And by that take control of the future and
shape it whatever way they want. One way french depended on to acheive
their target at the begining was encouraging colloquial language.
While British occupation of Egypt was concerning with the military
control of Egypt. The british forces failed to splite the unit of Egyptien,
especially muslims and coptics. On contrary of Algerian transformation,
Egyptien could resiste the culture attempts to invade the arabic culture.
Religious unity between the two poles of Egyptien society was the
major defence aganist the British invador. In writer's opinion, the main
element that preserved islamic and christian culture is the unity between
all classes in society. Although british tried to expanse through depending
on make christians believe that they are the true owner of land, and
muslims are invador of their rights, nothing could seperate between this
two major existence.
