RESIGNIFICACIÓN DE LA IDENTIDAD

CIFRAS:
En el ámbito nacional, se presentaron 187.477 personas en conflicto con la ley penal,
acogidas en el sistema nacional penitenciario y carcelario con necesidades a cumplir en
albergue, ingreso, permanencia, sumado a las funciones con ocasión a la restricción de la
libertad a través de las medidas de seguridad: la prevención general, la protección del
procedimiento penal y la ejecución de las penas con la prevención especial y la
resocialización, aspectos que permiten identificar el cumplimiento de los objetivos
institucionales y del sector justicia. De acuerdo a las instituciones que coadyuvan en el
sistema para la restricción de la libertad de los individuos en ocasión a los procesos penales,
la distribución se presenta en la siguiente forma:

 Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario –Inpec: 184.376 personas (98,3%).

 Entidades del Orden Territorial - Municipios: 2.363 personas (1,3%).
 Instituciones para la reclusión de miembros de la Fuerza Pública: 738 personas
(0,4%).

La población reclusa a cargo del Inpec, se encuentra bajo las siguientes modalidades de
custodia:
 Intramural en los Establecimientos del Orden Nacional- ERON: 118.769 personas
(64,4%).
 Con ubicación domiciliaria: 60.360 personas, incluyen 235 Gestores de Paz
(32,7%).
 Con vigilancia electrónica: 5.247 personas (2,8%).

DEFINICION DE IDENTIDAD:

 La identidad se puede entender también como la concepción que tiene una persona
o un colectivo sobre sí mismo en relación a otros.

 También hace referencia a la información o los datos que identifican y distinguen

oficialmente a una persona de otra.

 La identidad personal es el conjunto de características propias de una persona y la

concepción que tiene de sí misma en relación al resto de personas. La identidad
personal es individual, dinámica y abarca diferentes dimensiones de la persona.

 La identidad personal permite por un lado la individualización o diferenciarse del

resto de personas y por otro ofrece la posibilidad de pertenencia a un grupo o
colectivo.
DEFINICION DE RESIGNIFICACION: La idea de resignificación suele utilizarse para
nombrar al hecho de darle una nueva significación a un acontecimiento o a una conducta.
Esto quiere decir que la resignificación supone otorgar un valor o un sentido diferente a
algo. Aunque el concepto de resignificación no aparece en el diccionario de la Real
Academia Española (RAE), la inclusión del prefijo re- nos permite afirmar que el término
hace referencia a volver a significar.
RESIGNIFICACION DE LA IDENTIDAD EN PSICOLOGIA: En el ámbito de la
psicología, la resignificación refiere a otorgar un sentido diferente al pasado a partir de una
nueva comprensión en el presente, o a dar un nuevo sentido al presente tras una
interpretación distinta del pasado, quiere decir encontrar un nuevo significado o sentido a
una situación, un síntoma, una conducta, etc.
OBJETIVO DEL PROGRAMA RESIGNIFICACION DE LA IDENTIDAD:
Ayudar a la PPL (persona privada de la libertad) condenada a más de 10 años a la
resignificación de sus potencialidades a través del servicio penitenciario, brindar
herramientas institucionales encaminadas a potencializar las actitudes, habilidades y
destrezas de las personas que se encuentran privadas de la libertad, coadyuvando de manera
efectiva a su proceso de reincorporación a la sociedad.

RESIGNIFICATION OF IDENTITY

At the national level, there were 187,477 people in conflict with the criminal law,
received in the national prison and prison system with needs to be met in shelter,
admission, permanence, added to the functions on the occasion of the restriction of
freedom through the security measures: the general prevention, the protection of
the criminal procedure and the execution of the penalties with the special
prevention and the resocialization, aspects that allow to identify the fulfillment of
the institutional objectives and of the justice sector. According to the institutions
that contribute to the system for restricting the freedom of individuals on the
occasion of criminal proceedings, the distribution is presented as follows:
• National Penitentiary and Prison Institute - Spec: 184,376 people (98.3%).
• Entities of the Territorial Order - Municipalities: 2,363 people (1.3%).
• Institutions for the confinement of members of the Public Force: 738 people
(0.4%).

The prison population in charge of the Inpec is under the following custody
modalities:
• Intramural in the National Order Establishments- ERON: 118,769 people (64.4%).
• With home location: 60,360 people, including 235 Peace Managers (32.7%).
• With electronic surveillance: 5,247 people (2.8%).

IDENTITY DEFINITION:

• Identity can also be understood as the conception that a person or a collective

has about itself in relation to others.

• It also refers to information or data that officially identifies and distinguishes one
person from another.

• Personal identity is the set of characteristics of a person and the conception that
he has of himself in relation to other people. Personal identity is individual, dynamic
and encompasses different dimensions of the person.

• Personal identity allows, on the one hand, individualization or differentiation from

other people and on the other, it offers the possibility of belonging to a group or
group.

DEFINITION OF RESIGNIFICATION: The idea of resignification is often used to

name the fact of giving new meaning to an event or behavior. This means that
resignification means giving a different value or meaning to something. Although
the concept of resignification does not appear in the dictionary of the Royal
Spanish Academy (RAE), the inclusion of the rein prefix allows us to affirm that the
term refers to meaning again.
RESIGNIFICATION OF IDENTITY IN PSYCHOLOGY: In the field of psychology,
resignification refers to granting a different meaning to the past from a new
understanding in the present, or giving a new meaning to the present after a
different interpretation of the past, that is to say find a new meaning or meaning to
a situation, a symptom, a behavior, etc.
OBJECTIVE OF THE IDENTITY RESIGNIFICATION PROGRAM:
Help the PPL (person deprived of liberty) sentenced to more than 10 years to the
resignification of their potential through the prison service, provide institutional tools
aimed at potentiating the attitudes, abilities and skills of people who are deprived of
freedom, effectively contributing to its process of reintegration into society.
