A. Course Design

Course Title: Electrical Installation and Maintenance


Nominal Duration: 196 Hours
Qualification Level: NC II
Course Description: The Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II
Qualification consists of competencies that a person
must achieve to enable him/her to install and maintain
electrical wiring, lighting and related equipment and
systems where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts
in residential houses/buildings
Trainee Entry 1.Must have completed at least 10 years basic education
Requirements: or an ALS certificate of achievement with grade 10
equivalent holder
2.Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing
3.Must be able to perform basic mathematical
computation
