(a)Memory: Storage is a process through which digital data is saved within a data storage device by
Means of computing technology either temporarily or permanently.

(b)Storage: Storage through which digital data is saved within a data storage device by means of
computing technology either temporarily or permanently is a process

(c)Graphics Card: A video card is an expansion card which generates a feed of output images to a
display device. Frequently, these are advertised as discrete or dedicated graphics card, emphasizing
the distinction between these and integrated graphics.

(d)Motherboard: A motherboard is the main printed circuit board in general-purpose computers and
other expandable systems. It holds and allows communication between many of the crucial
electronics components of a system, such as the central processing unit and memory and provides
connectors for other peripherals.

(e)Processor (: A central processing unit also called a central processor, main processor or just
processor is the electronic circuity within a computer that executes instructions that make up a
computer program.

(f)Power Supply: A power supply is an electrical device that supplies electric power to an electrical
load. The source power may come from the electric power grid, such as an electrical outlet, energy
storage devices such as batteries or fuel cells, generators or alternators, solar power converters or
another power supply.

(g)Input Unit: Any information or data sent to a computer for processing is considered as input. The
most common input devices are:

1. Keyboard.
2. Mouse.
3. Microphone.
4. Touch screen.
5. Scanner.
6. Webcam, etc.

Output Unit: Anything that comes out of a computer considered as output. The most common

Outputs are:
1.Monitor.

2. Speaker.

3. Printer.

4. Projector.

There are Seven domains on the page. There are three domains of computer science I like most. And
they are:

1. Memory.
2. Motherboard.
3. Power Supply.

The Application area of memory: A memory is just like a human brain. It is used to store data and
instructions. Computer memory is the storage space in the computer, where data is to be processed and
instructions required for processing are stored. The memory is divided into large number of small parts
called cells.

The Application area of Motherboard: A motherboard is the spine of a PC. It is the link between all the
different components inside a computer. One of the major functions of a motherboard is to act as the
“hub” to which other computer devices are connected. A board can come in many formations to fit
different needs, budgets and speeds.

The Application area of Power Supply: A power Supply unit (or PSU) converts mains AC to low-voltage
regulated DC power for the internal components of a computer. Modern personal computers universally
use switched-mode power Supplies. Some power supplies have a manual switch for selecting input
voltage, while others automatically adapt to the mains voltage.
