Student Affairs and Services during COVID-19 Pandemic

The Office for Student Affairs and Services of the Urdaneta City University has
changed its name into the Center for Student Leadership and Development (CSLD). For the
Implementation of Flexible Delivery of Student Affairs and Services during COVID-19
Pandemic the CSLD with coordination with the abovementioned departments of the university
shall implement and devise strategic plans and goals to wit:

 The UCU-MIS+ - The Urdaneta City University – Management Information Services


shall be the forefront of information dissemination together with the UCU-CPCA or the
Urdaneta City University Committee on Publications and Communications Affairs.

The UCU-MIS+ shall be utilized in information dissemination through the use of social
media, and other modes of internet access. The CSLD and the UCU-MIS+ shall attach
links that student shall access for student services and other matters related thereto,
such as brochures, access to digital learning platforms and the like.

 The UCU-CPCA. The CSLD shall coordinate with the UCU-Committee on Publications
and Communications Affairs which then produce, develop, on-line publications of
student handbooks, student guides and the like. Said on-line publications shall then be
uploaded through the UCU-MIS+

 The UCU-PACC. The CSLD shall coordinate with the UCU-Psychological Assessment
and Counseling Center, in response to the students need for their mental health. Such
shall be implemented through the use of social media, online communication platforms
such as Zoom, Goggle Meet and the like. Online Counseling services shall also be
made available through the use of the aforementioned online platforms. Likewise,
telephone numbers of university counselors shall be made available for non - online
communications.

 The VPAA and Registrar’s Office – The CSLD shall coordinate with the Vice –
President for Academic Affairs and the Registrar’s Office with regards to the
Admission and Retention policies. Though this is included in the Student Handbook,
said policies must be given for proper information of the students
 The UCU Library – This is needed so that students can have access to the library
services of the University through online platforms.

 The UCU-SC and other student organizations.– The Urdaneta City University Student
Council, the highest governing student organization. Student Organizations of different
colleges and departments. The CSLD shall coordinate with these organizations in
developing and implementing the plans and goals for the new normal

 The UCU Alumni. – The CSLD shall coordinate with the Alumni Association with
regards to the Alumni Scholarship and other related matters. Likewise the Alumni’s
aide for the students.

 The UCU Clinic – The CSLD shall coordinate with the University Clinic in providing
online health care services such as online consultations, webinars on health care and
the like.

 The UCU Extension Services – The CSLD shall coordinate with the Extension services
who then shall coordinate with the different dormitories, boarding houses and food
services for students who opt to stay near the university.

The CSLD shall also provide and implement co-curricular programs and activities in
coordination with the different colleges and departments in accordance to the latter’s plan for
the new normal.
