Have you ever tried to wait for someone that is worth it?

Waiting for your special

someone could test your patience, time, and efforts. This is also the same with slow release
fertilizer. How could I say that waiting for my special someone is the same with slow release
fertilizer? Let’s discuss first the meaning of slow release fertilizer and later on we will find out
about how they are the same.

In a nutshell, slow release fertilizers are fertilizers that release a tiny low, regular
amount of nutrients over a period of time. Slow release fertilizers for flowering or fruiting
plants may also have higher ratios of phosphorous and a good slow release fertilizer for
vegetable gardens must contain calcium and magnesium. It has a lot of advantages like
temperature dependent nutrient release, constant growth, low salt concentration and toxicity,
lowering of burning risk, less leaching, provides a good root system, and savings in labor, time
and energy.

It is additionally known as controlled-release or insoluble fertilizer is gradually lessened

into available nitrogen by means of microorganisms. Slow-release nitrogen takes three to 10
weeks to enhance your lawn. It's more expensive than quick-release forms of nitrogen fertilizer,
but it's also less likely to harm your grass and provides longer-lasting effects. Slow-release
fertilizer is right for summer fertilizing because it provides a long, gradual feed.

So, after finding out that the effect of slow release fertilizers could last longer even
though it takes several of weeks to improve the quality of our grass, we could say that it is the
same as waiting for something or for our special someone because it is worth waiting for.

These slow release fertilizers can be found in Zeolites. Zeolite is a natural polymer
material that has the potential to provide fertilizer slowly because it is hydrophobic and
environmentally friendly. It is also used as slow releasing carrier of fertilizers and agrochemicals
like growth simulators, pesticides, and insecticides. In general, it can be used to increase
bioactivity on the soil, reduce evaporation of ammonia and amplify the retention capacity of
nutrient release in the soil. Its ion exchange properties are essential for plant nutrition due to
its cation exchange ability and porosity. Zeolites added to fertilizers give a double result when
applied to soil: provide long lasting action of fertilizer (prolongation effect) and prevent nutrient
leaching.
