1. The students are required to design “AN ARCHITECT’S


HOUSE”.
There are several main aims for the project. 10
i) The current house needs modernising.
ii) To provide bedrooms for visitors which come for several
days at a time because they’re often from overseas.
iii) To create more open plan living downstairs.
iv) INSIDE 30
1) 2 additional bedrooms and bathroom (guest suite-
shower room adequate)
2) A study room and home office. One needs to house
printer, shredder, filing. Need some book storage in
each space.
3) Boot room
4) Bike storage next to boot room.
5) Kitchen/Dining/Family room
6) Master bedroom with separate dressing area.
