Question: Why straight knife cutter is very common in our garments industry.
Answer: Straight knife cutting machine plays an important role in readymade garments
sector. There are different types of cutting machine used during garments manufacturing but
among those straight knife cutting m/c is maximum used. Because there are some reason to
use this machine. These are:
1. This types of cutting machine
is used in readymade garments sector in more than 99% cutting cases.
2. It can be easily transferred
from one place to another.
3. Straight knifes cutting m/c is
comparatively cheaper than others.
4. Higher lay of fabric can be cut
easily by using straight knifes cutting m/c.
5. Automatic grinding.
6. Excellent efficiency in cutting
high curve line than round knife.
7. By using this types of
machine, round corners can be cut more precisely than even round knife cutting m/c.
8. Fabric can be cut from any
angle by using straight knifes cutting machine.
9. Production speed is very good
by using this types of cutting machine as up to 10 heights can be cut at a time.
10. It also suitable for straight line
and curve line.
11. Here, garment or apparel or
clothing components can directly be separated from fabric lays.

Above all the points we can consider that why it used very common in our garments
industry. All point show that advantages of this machine, it cheaper than other used machine,
through this machine fabric can be cut from any angle, etc. So that it used overall 99%
cutting cases in our garments industry.

Question: Why computerized knife cutter is used in big garments industry or group of
industry?
Answer: Computerized cutting machines are used where high volume of garments is
manufactured. This machine cuts fabric layers as per command given in computer system.
Automatic cutting machine is also known as CNC machine. In the automatic cutting room,
fabrics are spread on the table by auto spreader and the lay is positioned in the cutting table
prior to automatic cutting. 
In the below discuss some reason why it very useful for garment industry:
1. Very fast fabric cutting;
2. Very accurate cutting;
3. Cutting speed could be varied;
4. Cutting knife could be rotated and moved at any angle;
5. Suitable for large scale production;
6. Can be connected with computerized marker making;
7. Fabric is compressed by vacuum facilitates cutting;
8. Cutting defect is negligible;
9. No possibility of blade deflection;
10. Blade sharpening is attached;
11. Possibility of accident is lower;
12. No need of marker;
13. Lower labor cost;
14. 6 to 8 times faster cutting.

If discuss or considered above all point, than we see that computerized knife cutter is very
useful for big garments industry or group of industry. Big or group industry required higher
production to run their industry. And higher production is not be done in timely if the
production process is not faster or automatic.
That’s the reason why big garments industry or group of industry should use this
computerized cutting system.
