Clearing the site by mechanical and manual means prior to start work and
clearing the road including dispose of minor dismantled debris left out after
execution of dismantling work. Rate also includes cutting of trees having

Carry out complete alignment survey work by total station along bridge

catchpits, existing utility services, light poles, trees, over head electrical
lines, BSNL section pillar/ box, Torrent electrical boxes, PMT including
number marked on them, road dividers, foot paths, etc. within construction
2 area and additional areas/ lengths if required. Rate includes fixing MORT&H fifth revision Section – 1102, 2400
necessary reference pillars, establishing bench mark, establishing
foundation layout on ground, including submission longitudinal section,
cross section and drawing report of survey work in three hard colour copies
with soft copy in CD to Engineer-in-charge as directed for flyover and
approaches. Submission of drawing in hard copy and AutoCAD soft copy
as per specification.
Carryout soil investigation work including drilling 150 mm dia boreholes

in all sorts of soil, ordinary rock and hard rock, upto maximum depth as
mentioned, collecting undisturbed samples and conducting standard
penetration tests alternate at an interval of 1.5 to 2.0 m. depth, conducting
necessary laboratory tests for all type of classification and determination of
soil parameters like density, shear and consolidation parameters if
required, including submission of report in three copies covering
investigation data and recommendation for SBC and the pile capacity
3 considering the design criteria, all as per specification. Agency for soil MORT&H fifth revision Section – 1102, 2400
investigation work shall be suggested by Engineer in charge.
1) The rate is inclusive of submitting soil investigation report in three sets
in hard copy as well soft copies.
2)The rate is inclusive of all materials with contractor's labour, tools and
plants, machineries, as required.
3) The rate is inclusive of all taxes including services tax.

Cutting of trees, including cutting of trunks, branches and removal of

Dismantling of existing PCC work of any grade in any type of elements,

Scarifying of existing bituminous road surface (flexible Pavement) by

mechanical means upto required depth to receive new tar road top layer
i.e. seal coat and bitumineous concrete including tools, plants, fuel, oil etc
and disposal of unserviceable material/ debries with all lifts and leads As
directed by engineer in charge.
Dismantling of existing RCC work of any grade in any type of elements

by mechanical or manual means including cutting reinforcement, including
tools, plants and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled

Dismantling of existing brick work/ Stone pitching in building,
compound wall and other structure in any thickness, with or without
plastered or any type of wall lining work in any type of mortar including
tools, plants and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled
material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable
material with all lifts and leads as directed by engineer in charge.
Dismantling/ removing any type of service pipe lines of any dia upto
any depth including excavtion, removing of pipe, back filling, watering,
compaction, including tools, plants and scaffolding wherever necessary,

stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and leads as directed by
engineer in charge.
Dismantling of existing structural steel work for railing, grill, gate,

grating, jali, etc including foundation, sorting the dismantled material,
disposal unserviceable material with all lifts and up to any lead at non

elements) upto near by store of client including loading, unloading as
directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantaling of existing any type of fencing with all heights including

dismantaling fencing posts including all earth work concrete in base and
making good the disturbed ground stacking useful materials as directed &
disposing off the unserviceable materials with all lead and lift.
Removal of existing any type of paving or paving stones of any type, any
size, any thickness in required depth including removing paver with spil
sub base and breaking sub base i.e concrete or metaling etc under the
supervision of concerned department, disposal unserviceable material with
14 all lifts and up to any lead at non objectional place and stacking the As Per Attached Specification Sheet
serviceable material (paver etc) upto near by store of client including
loading, unloading as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Removal of existing kerb stones of any type, any size, any thickness in
required depth including removing kerb with base PCC including
excavation, disposal unserviceable material with all lifts and up to any lead
15 at non objectional place and stacking the serviceable material (kerb) upto As Per Attached Specification Sheet
near by store of client including loading, unloading as directed by Engineer-
in-charge.
Repairing damaged M.H./ I.C. and rasing M.H. up to road level incl.
removing damaged brick work and repairing by brick masonry in C.M. 1:6
16 and plaster in C.M. 1:4 and fixing C.I. steps and removing manhole cover As Per Attached Specification Sheet
and debris from MH and carting the same as directed.
Submit colour photographs (2592 x 1944 pixels, 5MP) of the work supply
at monthly intervals (set required as per R&B Authority of different stage of
work submitted along with each R.A.Bill), one set (Min. 30 Images) of hard
copy not less than 5" x 7" for the work scarried out during month. Photos

are also to be submitted in form of soft copy as per directed by engineer in
charge. Photos are also to be submitted in the form of soft copy (DVD/CD)
on monthly basis.

Providing and installation of barricading with retro-reflective paint/ film/
tapes (Upto 3.0Mt. height) as specified in the drawing & specifications for
the construction of road work, along with necessary diversion arrangement
for existing traffic movement in an unobstructed condition, all relevant
markings, sign boards and illumination as per relevant MORT&H
specification. Precoated galvanised iron profile sheets shall be of approved
make and shade having 0.50 mm (+0.05 %) total coated thickness with
zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 550 mpa steel grade, 5-
7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-
18 microns.
Rate to be inclusive of all materials, fabrication works, paint works for
information (retro reflective paint), foundation works, transportation,
loading, unloading, installation, dismantling and inclusive of all taxes and
including the same design for providing openable gates. No extra rental will
be given to the contractor in case of any delays from his part for
18 construction or due to any valid time limit extensions. Each barricading MORT&H fifth revision Section – 112
sheet is to be numbered with a unique number. The barricading provided
shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading
from one location to another location as many times as required during the
execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its
maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials,
equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall
not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. One time
payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till
completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be
the property of the contractor on completion of the work. Blinkers are to be
installed on the barricading and rate for blinkers will be payable as per
relevant item. Barricading is to be cleaned by means of washing with water
on a weekly basis or as and when required as per the instructions of
Engineer in charge.
Supplying installation testing & commissioning of Blinkers like for

baricadding, height barriers etc complete in all respect and as approved.
Providing, fabricating, erecting enabling structures and height barrier or

other elements (temparary structure) made from suitable ISMB, ISHB,
ISMC, ISHC, any rolled section, hollow section, any type of plate etc for
obligatory span, considering the fact that unrestricted traffic movement on
the road is to be allowed while the obligatory span is being cast. The rate
quoted by the contractor shall consider with salvage value of structural
steel. Cost to be inclusive of all loading, unloading, transporting, onsite and
shop welding and bolting, erecting, anti corrosive primer and paint of
approved make/ shade and cleaning works, securing in position, proper

appeared, cutting of pipe, changing of pipeline including necessary
fixtures, jointing pipe line with maintaining existing slope of line, making
good etc complete up to any depth for any type of water supply line up to
300mm dia. Excavation, back filling and other necessary civil items shall
be paid in relevant item.
Providing and laying in situ M15 grade bedding concrete for construction
of cast in situ P.C.C block of standard size 900x300x150min or as directed
by Engineer in charge including groove in asphalt road pavment , white

Empty boring to the required depth (measured from bottom of pile cap to
founding level) by means of hydraulic pilling rig through all strata like soil,
sand, clay, murrum, gravel, pebble, boulder, cobble, soft rock, etc. for pile
of required diameter, supported with the help of polymer slurry including all
required plant & machineries, disposal of excavated material with all leads
& lifts, mobilisation demobilisation, remobilisation if required, transportation
of required plant and machineries, etc. Method of boring shall be as per IS
2911-Part 1 - Section -II and as follows.
(1) Bore hole Drilling shall be done by use of hydraulic rig using temporary
casing of required depth upto cut off level of pile, polymer slurry only to be
used and drilling shall be carried out as directed by the Engineer. Use of
23 bentonite slurry will not permitted. MORT&H fifth revision specifications section 1100
(2) Reinforcement shall be paid separately.
(3) Rate shall also include drilling and socketing in rock at required depth.
The item is with the cost of polymer to be used for stabilisation of bore. i.e
Dry Boring
(4) Length of pile shall be measured from bottom of pile cap and upto the
founding level.
(5) Rate is inclusive of empty boring through overburden (i.e. temporary
working platform, etc.)

providing pile caps as directed by Engineer and as per specification.

Carrying out Static load test as per standard procedure laid down in the
IS 2911 specification and maintaining complete records of load v/s
settlement on test any load and dia of pile constructed for the purpose
including erection and removal of loading platform with all contractor's
materials, labour, tools & plants, etc. complete with all necessary
instrumentation, high capacity hydraulic jacks, etc. complete as per
specification and for the test load as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
1) Load test shall be continued till test load or soil failure whichever is
earlier.
2) Testing shall be carried out with loading frame with ground
29 anchors/anchor piles/kentledge with platform including all necessary As Per Attached Specification Sheet
arrangement required for the test, as approved by Engineer-in-charge.
3) Boring, concreting & reinforcement of test pile only shall be measured
separately in respective items subject to successful completion of test.
4) If load test of pile is not completed successfully, payment shall not be
made for this test item as well as boring, concreting and reinforcement of
test pile for which test carried out and another test pile shall be
constructed.
Initial load test shall be Complete within 60 Days from date of issue of
Work Order.
Performing Integrity Test (low strain) on all vertical pile. The item shall
include chipping of weak concrete at the top of pile, leveling, bending of
reinforcing bars, preparation of pile head including testing with pile driving
analyser or approved equivalent. To be carried out at least 15 days after
concreting of piles. A specialist approved Agency shall be employed by the
30 Contractor for the test. The test shall be carried out as per relevant ASTM As Per Attached Specification Sheet
code. The item is including complete testing with approved apparatus,
analysis of results and conclusions including submission of test reports in
three hard copies with soft copy in CD.
Carrying out High strain Dynamic Test on any working pile / Test pile as
selected by the Engineer-in-charge. The test shall be carried out by
agency approved by engineer in charge as per IRC-Notification 54 and
31 submitting results /reports in three hard copies with soft copy in CD. Item As Per Attached Specification Sheet
includes all necessary arrangements required for the test. (With guided
frame arrangement)
Performing Integrity Test using cross hole sonic logging on pile. The
item shall include chipping of weak concrete at the top of pile, leveling,
bending of reinforcing bars, preparation of pile head including testing. To
be carried out at least 15 days after concreting of piles. A specialist
approved Agency shall be employed by the Contractor for the test. The
test shall be carried out as per relevant ASTM code D6760. The item is
including complete testing with approved apparatus, analysis of results and
conclusions including submission of test reports in three hard copies
32 alognwith soft copy. Payment shall be made for number of pile tested. As Per Attached Specification Sheet
Rate shall include providing of A class MS steel pipes of 50mm outer
diameter (four numbers and upto foundation level of pile) as per technical
specifications, 2.9mm thick (light) as per IS:1239 in pile at time of casting
to be used for cross hole sonic test. Pipe shall extend from ground level to
bottom of pile where pipe shall be sealed at bottom. Rate shall also include
filling of tubes after sonic test using standard cement non-shrink mortar
before casting of pile cap.
Excavation for pile caps, foundation of columns, approach slab, solid slab,
pile cap beam, Staircase Foundation trial pit for investigation of existing
utility line etc. in all categories of soils, such as sand, clay, murrum, gravel,
pebble, boulder, cobble, soft rock, road crust etc. as per specification for
depth below ground level as mention. Including to pay stacking of
excavated stuff as directed by EIC. The rate is inclusive of contractor's
own machinery and equipment, labour, taxes, temporary works,
consumables, lead & lift, shoring, strutting, timbering and buttressing with MORT&H fifth revision Clause-304

controlled cement concrete in Pylon of Cable Stay portion (pylon shall
be casted as per direction of Engineer in charge), using 6 mm to 20 mm
machine crushed well graded stone aggregate, sand of approved quality,
OPC 53 grade cement and Mineral admixture Alccofine (no flyash) with
contractor's own concrete mix design etc. complete as per specification.
Mix design shall be approved by Engineer in charge.
The rate is inclusive of all materials, including necessary mixing in fully
automatic batch mix plant, transport, curing, vibrating, placing in position,
scaffolding, staging, shuttering, formworks, deshuttering carefully, making

Rates in items shall include cost of providing grooves (non architectural),

drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Special
type shuttering with texture and exposed pattern shuttering shall be paid
relevant tender item. Shop drawing of staging shuttering and casting shall
be submitted for approval.

M45 grade controlled cement concrete in pier & Abutment (pier shall

Providing and fixing in position (Thermo mechanically Treated bars) TMT

Fe500D conforming to IS 1786 reinforcing bars of various diameters for
Pile, Pile Cap, Raft of Retaining wall, Pier, Pier cap, Abutment, Abutment
Cap, Pylon, Retaining wall, Dirt wall, sidewall, Pedestals, Seismic Arrester,
PSC Box, RCC work in Superstructure, Crash Barrier & Approach Slab and
Footpath slab or any area of development as per detailed designs and
drawings and schedule including cutting, bending, hooking the bars,
binding with 18 SWG GI wires with cost of all labour, materials, tools,
plants, equipments, supporting as required with all lifts and leads etc. all

The rate includes for supply, loading, unloading, transporting to site,

Providing and applying Hydrophobic Silane - Siloxane coating of
approved make, to exposed concrete surfaces at all heights & leads and
wherever instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. The treatment shall be in two
coats wet-on-wet or as recommended by approved manufacturer including
preparation of surfaces by cleaning, curing, protecting, independent double
legged scaffolding etc complete. The rate includes the cost of all
materials, its application by specialized applicators by spray coating with
44 airless sprayer, cleaning the substrate of all laitance, construction dust, As Per Attached Specification Sheet
contaminants, double scaffolding, labour etc., all complete and at all
levels, leads and heights as per particular specification & directions of
engineer in charge. Guarantee Bond in the prescribed proforma shall be
executed by the contractor for the satisfactory performance of the
application for 5 years.
Providing and casting in situ controlled cement concrete M-50 for

prestressed concrete work in superstructure with cast in situ units i.e.
single cell / multi cell box or cast in situ PSC Box or solid slab or Cast-in-
situ Deck slab with using 6 mm to 20 mm machine crushed well graded
stone aggregate, sand of approved quality, OPC 53 grade cement and
Mineral admixture Alccofine (no flyash) with contractor's own concrete mix
design etc. complete as per specification. Mix design shall be approved by
Engineer in charge, also including centering shuttering, sacrificial
shuttering if required , curing, scaffolding, ramming, vibrating, finishing

lanes and other areas as mentioned in the drawing. Including providing
and laying 50 to 80 mm thick average bedding layer of coarse sand below

stabilized lamination shall be done on it. The ACP sheet shall be fixed with
SS 304 fastner, screw, clamp, adhesive, tap, etc on any type of MS
structure. Content of sign shall be letters (In Gujarati & English), graphics,
maps, logo, border, etc as per IRC standard in required colour as per

perfeclty in line. The width and depth of the removal of asphalt towards
kerb stone shall be as per the drawing. Bitumen shall be carefully removed
117 so that the the cutting edge towards the road should not be disturbed. The As Per Attached Specification Sheet
work of removal of the asphalt will be considered in this item as running
meter of the cutting done by machine. One cutting line will be considered
per length of the kerb stone. Bitumen and other debris shall be disposed
for all lead and all lift as per the instruction of the engineer in charge.
Surroundings shall be cleaned to the satisfaction of the engineer in charge.
Removing and refixing existing fencing/ safty grill as directed by engineer

in charge.
1) Removing existing fencing/ safty grill including allied civil work i.e. fixing

2) Stacking of removed material at safe place uptill the time of reuse.
