As a result of the unforeseeable business circumstances resulting from the sudden and unprecedent effects of Covid-19 pandemic and subsequently announced government ordered closures, travel restrictions, and phased reopening plans, Maverick Helicopters (“Maverick”) temporarily laid off and/or furloughed most of our workforce at the following locations: 6075 S. Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119; and1620 Jet Stream Drive, Henderson, Nevada 89052 and 2960 Sunridge Heights Parkway, Henderson, Nevada 89052. Initially, we were optimistic that once resorts were permitted to reopen and states began to reopen, travel would resume and our business levels would increase. We could not possibly have foreseen the duration and severity of the COVID-19 pandemic, or its impact on our industry. Although the fact that some local resorts have recently re-opened is encouraging, phased reopening plans from various states and continued restrictions on travel have continued to impact our business and we are not certain what the business levels will be after re-opening. We are providing you this notice that the layoff and furloughs which began on or about March 18, 2020 and June 10, 2020, may continue beyond six months and/or could become permanent. This is a partial measure; not all employees at Maverick will be impacted.
