(FVSB) is a local Malaysian company involved mainly in
the Operations & Maintenance services opportunities and initiatives for offshore
floating systems such as Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) and
Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) vessels.
We seek talents with extensive experience in the areas of FSO/FPSO management
to apply for the following positions:
FSO MASTER
Directly manage FSO operations as the person-in-charge onsite by
overseeing day-to-day operation and maintenance activities, HSE,
security and personnel matters, fulfilling Company’s contractual
obligations and interfacing with Client’s onsite representative on
operational matters.
● Experience in field or Command as Master onboard ship.
● Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer) Class
1 (Master Mariner), or equivalent degree or minimum 5 years in
managing FSO/FPSO.
MOORING MASTER
Navigate tanker to enter and leave the Terminal designated area
safely; moor and unmoor tanker to and from the FVSB facility safely
and efficiently.
● Inspection and maintenance of mooring and offloading
equipment.
● Acting as terminal representative onboard the Export Tankers
for all export operations, including emergency situations, and
for cargo documentation process.
● Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer) Class 1 (Master
Mariner), or equivalent degree or minimum 5 years in managing
FSO/FPSO.
● Minimum 5 years experience as Master in FSO/FPSO.
MARINE SUPERVISOR
Assisting the Offshore Installation Manager in managing the marine
department operations and risk management safely and efficiently
in accordance with the Company’s operations philosophy and
policies and to manage the customer’s requirement effectively.
● Experience in the implementation of safety management
systems.
● Competence in operation of marine systems and offtake tanker
berthing.
● Understanding of relevant legislative requirements with respect
to overall operation of FSO/FPSO’s.
● Minimum Class 2 Certificate of Competency, for
Class 3 certificates holders must have proven experience as
Lead Cargo Technicians at least 3 years on FSO/FPSOs.
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Plan, supervise and implement all maintenance and minor project
activities on the FVSB facilities. Safeguards the availability and
operating condition so that HSE and OPEX targets are achieved.
● Experience in offshore oil & gas facility and sailing onboard FSO
or tanker.
● Class 1 Marine Engineer Officer (Motor/Steam) or Diploma in
Marine Engineering or Class 2 (Steam) Certificate as Marine
Engineer STCQ/National equivalent (DCE) for Petroleum/Gas as
appropriate).
● 10 years experience as Second Engineer or Senior Maintenance
Technician.
● 2 years on steam turbine vessels and services as Second
Engineer.
CARGO SUPERVISOR
Exhibit a high standard of leadership, supervisory and safety
behaviors and will ensure that all aspects of Cargo and Cargo Utility
systems operations and supervision are carried out effectively.
● Class 2 Deck Officer STCW 95 plus DCE for Petroleum/Gas as
appropriate.
● 3 years VLCC experience as 2nd Officer – Chief Officer
experience desirable.
OFFSHORE BASED
ENGINE ROOM SUPERVISOR
Responsible for all the operation and maintenance of Engine Room
equipment. Ensure that all aspects of Engine Room operation and
maintenance are carried out safely, through careful delegation and
control of responsibilities.
● Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing and
utility systems desirable.
● Class 1 (Steam) Certificate of Competency as Marine Engineer.
● Experience as Chief Engineer in Marine Industry and 3 years as
2nd Engineer.
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
(Topside/Hull & Marine)
Supervision of all operations activities on the Facility (FPSO/FSO).
Compliance of statutory regulations and contractual obligations.
Development of human capability within the Facility (FPSO/FSO).
● Management of health, safety, environment and security
matters on the Facility (FPSO/FSO).
● Minimum of 10 years of working experience in Oil & Gas facility
in a range of technical, supervisory and management role.
SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
To implement all maintenance work as per planned maintenance
system, lead & train the maintenance personnel & adhere to
company’s policy & requirement in order to achieve its goals.
● Has working experience as 2nd engineer onboard tankers, FSO
or FPSO.
● Class 2 Certificate of Competency or Diploma in Marine
Engineering.
SENIOR MARINE TECHNICIAN
To ensure that marine system are maintained and operated safely
and efficiently, and that all risk are identified and manage in
accordance with the Company’s management systems and
applicable regulations and guidelines.
● Minimum Second Mate with 5 years tankers experience.
● FG Certificate of Competency with STCW 95 and dangerous
cargo endorsement.
SENIOR MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Leading and implementing planned and corrective maintenance on
all mechanical/production equipment offshore, in a safe and
competent manner as part of a multi-disciplined team. Safeguard
the availability and operating condition so that HSEQ, production
and OPEX targets can be achieved.
● Supervisory and leadership abilities in an offshore oil and gas
operations environment.
● Mechanical Engineer with 5 – 10 years experience as Senior
Mechanical Technician.
● Minimum 5 years offshore oil and gas facility experience, in a
range of technical roles, preferably with experience of multi skill
tasking.
SENIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
(Topside/Hull & Marine)
To lead and ensure that the power generation, power distribution
and all electrical and instrumentation equipment is maintained and
operated reliably so that HSEQ, production and OPEX targets can
be achieved.
● Good experience of Permit to Work, Electrical Isolation
Standards and Risk Assessment.
● Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems
and utilities.
● Minimum of AO competency level.
● 5 – 10 years experience desired with offshore experience preferred.

SENIOR PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
Plan, organize, perform, lead and provide guidance on over all
operations, start-up & shutdown activities in accordance with
production requirements. To ensure that the production systems
are operated safely and efficiently, in accordance with management
systems and to satisfy or exceed clients requirement.
● Good mechanical/instrumental aptitude.
● Minimum 5 – 10 years hydrocarbon production experience.
SENIOR INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN
(Topside/Hull & Marine)
Leads the implementation of maintenance of all instrumentation
and control systems controlling and monitoring the Process and
Utility systems within a multi-disciplined team. Safeguards the
availability and operating condition so that HSEQ, production and
OPEX targets are achieved.
● Certificate in Electrical/Instrumentation.
● 5 – 10 years experience in electrical/instrument discipline on an
offshore oil & gas facilities.
SENIOR CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR
(Topside/Hull & Marine)
Capable in operating DCS, Fire and Gas and ESD Systems from
Central Control Room. Optimize the process, reduce and control
plant upsets.
● Understanding of Permit to Work System; Mechanical Isolation
Standards, Risk Assessment and COSHH.
● To isolate, maintain and reinstate Pumproom and Cargo System.
● To monitor and maintain Pollution control measures.
● Minimum 3 years as Pumpman in oil tankers.
RADIO OPERATOR/MEDIC
Plan, supervise and implement all health program and assist the
OIM identify and implementation of offshore HSE activities.
● Certified Radio Operator for those without radio operator
experience.
● Diploma Science in Medical and Psychiatric Nursing.
● Certificate of Safety and Health Officer (NIOSH).
● Minimum 5 years in relevant position with Oil & Gas experience.
● MMA Certification – Paramedic.
