I am a hardworking 22year old who takes every task given to me and completes
it with enthusiasm, to the best of my abilities.

I completed my studies, a three year diploma in Advanced International Hotel

Management, at Varsity College in 2008. During these three years I actively took
part in the student activities that the college had to offer. I also represented them
as a member of their hockey and cricket team. I apply the skills that I learnt on
the sport fields in my everyday life and this allows me to be an excellent team
player who keeps my cool when the pressure is on.

It was compulsory to have a certain amount of practical hours in the industry,

completed at the end of each year. In my first year I worked at Bishop Bistro, a
well known Restaurant in Pretoria-East. In 2007, my second year, I spent four
months in Knysna, where I enjoyed working at the Bradach Manor Guest House.
I didn’t know anybody at the guest house or in town, but quickly got involved in
the community, by playing bowls and cricket for the Knysna Club. This is still my
home away from home. In my final year, I was the part-time manager at Mont
Paradiso Guest House in Waverley for a period of four months. I had a lot of
responsibilities was able not only to cope, but love the work that I was doing.
