being on top. The books serve as the stairway in becoming a good literate person and there are
certain things that it must considered upon making a literature piece, it depends if it is a poem,
story, fiction or any kind of creations that is in line with the literature. You can’t easily make a
piece of literature if you don’t know its standard or appropriate form and that’s why it highly
requires our wide imagination, considerate on others ideas, builds strong content knowledge, and
knows how to cope reliable and accurate sources. To those passionate and dedicated writers out
their always keep in mind that before being called a literate person start first on setting goals,
reading books, studying things on how to become a good literate person and taking notes of the
new vocabulary words you’ve encountered in order for you to improve your skills in making a
legendary piece of literature.
 What is the importance of studying literature?

IN YOU AS A STUDENT

As a student the relevance of studying literature for me is quite essential, through it I can
be able to learn and appreciate the powers of words and while reading a literature piece it seems
that I’m traveling in other dimensions. Particularly, it taught me in considering various
viewpoints and following the certain objectives or forms that a literature must have. Reading
books and scanning my notes indeed helps me in developing my writing skills and speaking
fluently both English and Tagalog languages.

IN YOUR COURSE/ PROGRAM

In my chosen field studying literature is a privilege as my course is in line with this field.
At this point of time I can’t totally say that I’m an expert in my chosen field that’s why I’m still
studying here in Cebu Technological University due to the fact that I’m passionate and dedicated
to discover new things. And with the help of my instructors and classmates, I’m undoubted to
gain a lot of lessons from them that will absolutely help me as I pursue my desire of becoming a
famous literate individual.

IN YOUR DEGREE

5 years from now since I graduated from college with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in
Filipino the lessons I’ve learned in the past few years that was all about the importance of
studying Literature, still engraved in my heart and mind. Applications and exerting efforts
beyond the field I am passionate about will be the greatest thing that I can share to those
aspirants literate out there. I will continue making the inspirational literally piece, share my
knowledge whole heartedly to my future students, and tell them the hidden beauty of literary
works that’s allows us to see the world in different vantage points.

IN YOUR LIFE AS A WHOLE

Living a life that is full of literary pieces is much better than watching over the lives of
others. Reading and listening to literary works are so relaxing, and gives me hope to strive harder
in my daily living. My intellectual and personal capabilities have improved in terms of accepting
my flaws and considering others own perspective about life. Every time that I felt like no ones in
favor with me writing and making my own literary piece is my relief that enables me to manifest
where I am good at. Literature sharpens my sense of moral judgment and maintains my state of
mind on its best condition in dealing and coping up the difficulties I encountered.

In my own perspective literature is a product of one’s resourceful and imaginative mind

that tends to give entertainment, acquired knowledge, inspiration and a hope to everyone who’s
suffering any difficulties in their life. Literature also is a great method in showcasing the culture
and traditions that every group of people has and through that we may be able to know and
recognize our differences. “Unity in Diversity” is somewhat that a Literature is being grateful for
because of the fact that a literate individual knows how to accept other’s viewpoint and flexible
enough which can do both oral and written pieces of literature that reveals his/her personal
experiences, and a culture, traditions and beliefs to the community which he/she belongs.

Through my 19 years of existence in this world, having a privilege of being a student of

Cebu Technological University taking up a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Filipino, it’s just
recently that I appreciated the hidden beauty of literary works that’s allowed me to see the world
in different vantage points. I discovered a lot of things that is much more applicable in my daily
living. It’s not just the beauty of literature, but also its significance in growing both of my
personal and intellectual being. Literature has already a big impact in my life for the reason that
it awakens my ultimate desire as an aspirant literate individual to strive harder and focus on the
things where I’m good at and be versatile in coping up and discovering new things.
 Cebu Technological University has its own Vision, Mission, Goals and Outcomes that
reflected the way they catered their student. They have produced a well trained, disciplined and
expert individual in their chosen field. The CTU is the best place for the underprivileged students
who want to graduate and get a degree. On the other hand, this reflection of mine will also tackle
about the content of the VMGO’s of CTU that will be a great help for me and for my fellow “Ka-
Techno” in accomplishing our desires and to make into reality that the VMGO wants to convey
to us. I’ll be answering the question why do any schools have to create a VMGO? What are its
purposes and how it will going to catch the attentions of every students.

The CTU’s Vision focuses on the welfare of the students and the high-level goals for the
future. Aside from producing a well trained and professional individual the school also aims to
produce a multidisciplinary technological University that reminds the students that education is
nothing when you don’t have a good conduct. The content of the CTU’s Mission describes its
overall purposes, particularly in providing an advance professional and technical instruction for
its students that will serve as their bases or guidelines in fulfilling their desires at the same time
