OES has evolved over the years, from humble beginnings as Oilfield Engineering Services
based in Sharjah to the present day with offices in US, Europe, Singapore and Australia as
well as the UAE (although now in Dubai).

OES are one of the few third party inspection contractors within the industry that
actually offer an apprenticeship program for new inspectors and as such all OES
inspectors are trained within the company to work specifically in the oil and gas industry
to OES very high standard.
OES reports are second to none, can be laid out as per client specified request, relate
directly to standards as agreed with the client for the specific location of the clients
facility. They are sectionalised, very detailed, include substantial photographic back up
where possible and are unique for their depth and quality within the oil and gas industry.
OES offers state of the art database facilities for complete lifting gear and handling
equipment inventories for all oil and gas industry operators. The entire site inventory can
be entered on OES’s MS Access driven Certrack™ database for easy access and tracking of
lifting and handling equipment. Separate reports and registers will be created for tested
lifting equipment, visually inspected lifting equipment, spot MPI and drilling/handling
tools and equipment. The program also has a Certrack Client™ feature which allows
client’s personnel to inventory all new/alternative equipment that arrives at site between
inspections. This ensures the client is not faced with ongoing costs for retest of new
equipment missing test certificates (subject to database maintenance on by client
personnel of course).
OES continues to grow, offering many new services and expanding into many new
markets. Going in to 2003 we now offer advanced PM System appraisal and related
services including Infra red thermography, rolling stock inspection and appraisal as well
as more maintenance based inspection/appraisal services as a competent third party.
Project work is also becoming more regular as OES clients strive for the high quality now
required within the industry. All of this in addition to our ever evolving regular
inspection programs for oil and gas related facilities, both on and offshore.

• ISO 9001:2000 certificate accredited from NCS for Australia and Far East Office.

Authorities.
• Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) membership certificate.
• International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) membership certificate.
• Certificates of approval as an external specialist for performance of NDT and UT
thickness gauging services plus Underwater inspection (UWILD) services from;
