To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to you today to speak praise for a student of mine, Samantha Reilly. I have only had
the opportunity to teach her for half the year so far, but in that short period of time she has showed
herself to be a phenomenally hard working and self-motivating student. I hope that this letter of
recommendation if help with your decision process and pick this young lady as a potential candidate.

Samantha brings a level of curiosity and excitement into my class that I rarely have in my daily
experiences in my classes. She is eager to learn and ask questions for clarification while other students
would just be passive about their education experience. She maintains a high level of organization in
her work and goes above and beyond when it comes to her notes. I can always trust that when other
students ask her for help on questions, that she has the correct information and understands what it all
means. I personally believe that if you know something well enough, you could teach it others well. I
believe that she could do that easily at the end of any chapter that we have covered in class so far.

Samantha has also expressed her interest in pursuing a career in Forensics. I take this as the
highest compliment when students express this feeling of going into a field that I teach. With every
student that has expressed this interest, I have never had a doubt that they couldn’t be able to do it.
This feeling is extended to Samantha as well. I believe she has the tenacity, the will, and the smarts to
become fantastic in the field of Forensics. She is very detail driven, extremely organized, and both
follows and understand why protocol is so very important to the field of Forensics. Forensics is a
difficult field, and not always as clean and nice as they portray on television, but I have no doubt that
she would be excellent in this field.

It’s with this that I whole-heartedly recommend Samantha Reilly. I have only had a handful of
students that have held themselves to a level that she holds herself.
