HOTS CORNER

1. Why is rainwater the purest form of water?

2. Rain water is considered to be the purest form of natural water as it
is directly comes from the condensation of water droplets. In the
presence of sun, the water evaporates from the seas, oceans , rivers
(from all the natural open resources of water) leaving behind all the
impurities and form the cloud.

3. On a hot summer day we like to splash water on our face. Explain the phenomenon which
helps us to feel cold?
Ans This is because water takes the heat of our body and evaporates making us feel cool.

4. How do the animals living in soil get affected by heavy rain?

Ans.As the air between the soil particles is filled with water so they come out of soil spaces
to breathe.

4. You are drenched completely while playing in the rain. But

you did not stop playing. To your surprise, your clothes dried

after some time.How?

Ans.Due to the phenomenon of evaporation.
