Introduction

The Value proposition:


Tiger Nut milk is obtained from mature Tiger Nut roots is sweet and tasty. It is not only a thirst
quenching drink but also nutritious due to the presence of several minerals and has medicinal
properties also particularly for the cure of heart issues. Tiger Nut milk mixed with the extracts of
date fruits and coconut etc., adds to the taste, helps in better digestion and improved bowel
movement. Our product is sugarcane juice in a pet bottle. Tiger nut Milk is widely used in summer
season because it is good in taste and low in cost. Because Tiger nut is naturally sweet, so it can
be sold with a little additional processing too. The sugar cane juice has several health benefits
and medicinal properties most of which remains unknown to the masses. It has direct effect on
human body system and it contains nutrients which are healthful for life
It strengthens the stomach, kidneys, heart, eyes, and brain and sex organs. The Milk sucked
from the tiger nut can prove highly valuable.
The target market would include almost all the adults, young & health conscience people and we
would initiate our project initially in Kaduna area.

Industry and Market Analysis:


Our business falls under the agricultural and manufacturing sector as we planned to directly
involve in Tiger nut farming in the long run. As the Nigerian government is now focusing on
agriculture and also focusing on local produce to boost the economy, our team are already
leveraging on those policies in order to achieve a speedy growth.
Our target market are almost all the adults, young & health conscience people and these makes
up about 39% of the total market. The direct competitors of our Product are:
 Habib Youghurt
 Chi Limited
 The road side vendors.

But they are not competing our product with them because they are the competitors of the Milk
market and they are only providing the different flavour but not the Tiger nut milk.
As the Tiger nut milk is the symbol of the refreshment and nutrition and it is also a substitute for
the other soft drinks. We have compared it with other soft drinks, in the soft drink market we have
the competitors like:
 Coca cola
 Pepsi
 Other instant drinks

SWOT Analysis
STRENGTHS
The availability of business premises and technical know-how, passion, preparedness, zeal and
zing to diligently manage the project and judiciously appropriate all resources.
WEAKNESSES
Paucity of funds is largely a greater constraint especially with regards to large scale production
and lack of finance.
OPPORTUNITIES
There is ease of availability by contracting with local manufacturers.
Trend of health consciousness and purification and to remain fresh and healthy forever.

THREAT
Shortage of energy is a current problem which Nigeria is facing, and this can adversely affect us
negatively. Inflation rate is another threat which we can face and other government policies.

Operations Plan
NAFDAC certification as its already in progress to enable our customers have confidence in
consumption and to also give assurance on safety.
Tiger nut and Date fruits (Dabino) is the main raw material needed for the milk, coconut is needed
for flavoring. The Tiger nut Grinding machine, stainless bowl table, power generating set are the
physical assets needed to increase production and will obtain by direct purchasing.
In order to increase efficiency and production we plan to employ two (2) staff in order to meet up
with the current demand.
Now we use the bicycle mobile marketing technique to deliver directly to customers but due to
rise in demand we plan to maintain our current form of delivery and also supply to supermarkets
and other distribution point for onward delivery to customers.
We currently have three (3) suppliers that supplies us with fresh sugar cane from Kaduna suburb
we maintain an arm’s length supplier relationship with them

Marketing Plan
Aside the bicycle hawking strategy that we currently use we plan on visual advertisements on the
Televisions and social media. In the commercials and ad we can again demonstrate the benefits
of Tiger Nuts Milk. When compared to the newspaper advertisement, TV and social media ads
are more effective and attractive since people can see and visualize the demonstrating, they can
be easily motivated to consume and try the products.

Management
I will manage the day to day activities of the business, the manager will supervise production
manage inventories, delivery to distributors, receive reports, sales revenue. The operators are
responsible for the production of the Milk, bottling and labeling.

buy equipment, pay salaries buy raw materials, transport and utilities.
