STANDARD: Comprendo instrucciones escritas para llevar a cabo actividades cotidianas, personales y
académicas

LEARNING GOALS:Recognize the quantifiers and their uses.
Compare the difference between the countable and uncountable nouns
Classify nouns into countables and non countables

ESTRATEGIAS DIDACTICAS Y METODOLOGICAS (EJECUCIÓN DIDACTICA – ACCIONES PEDAGÓGICAS)

WARM UP (25 min): As this is the first meeting with the students I´d like to introduce myself by saying my name and tell
them more about me, not just as a teacher but as a whole human being. During the process I will ask questions depending
upon their own answers, that way I will activate prior knowledges about the right use of the auxiliary verbs
Questions like:
How old are you?
How many brothers and sisters do you have?
How many notebooks do you use for school?
The main purpose of it is to encourage them to do the same in during one minute and a half per student.

PRESENTATION (20): The teacher will introduce the topic by Showing a PowerPoint presentation with
slides that contain the grammar rules and the uses of the Quantifiers as well as the food containers, including
where to use them and their main purpose during a conversation.to complement the slides the teacher will
play an English subtitled video where the food containers are shown

PRACTICE

PRODUCTION:
the slides will also include examples and tips to identify the main structure of a question tag,as well as
exercises to practice the containers along the class.including matching and gap-filling exercises.then the
students will have to complete the worksheet included in the slides.

EVALUATION

FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT:

HOMEWORK
The students Will complete a multiple choice questionnaire with twenty questions to practice the topics already
seen during the class.
