Myself Sushma V. Naidu, residing at the above stated address, wish to bring to your
kind notice about the harassment that I have been subjected to, by Supremology
Software Services Private Limited (“Supremology/Company”).

1. I have graduated in engineering and I took up employment as a ‘Software

Engineer’ with Supremology on and from January 6, 2020. My Letter of
Appointment issued by Supremology for appointing me as a ‘Software
Engineer’ is enclosed to this letter as Annexure -1. At the time of my
appointment, the said Company also made me to deposit my Original Degree
Certificates with Supremology - ‘As a Token of My Commitment to the
Organization’. I was informed that unless I submit my Original Degree
Certificates, I will not be given employment. The letter issued by
Supremology for having received my Original Degree Certificates is also
enclosed hereto as Annexure -2. Further, Supremology also entered into with
‘Service Agreement – cum – Guarantee Bond’ with me on January 7, 2020,
wherein it was stated that in view of the training provided to me by
Supremology, I will have to pay to Supremology a sum of Rs. 2,50,000/-
(Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) in the event I voluntarily resign
from my employment with Supremology before the expiry of 2 years 3 months
from the date of my employment (i.e., on or before March 31, 2022). The said
‘Service Agreement – cum – Guarantee Bond’ is also enclosed hereto as
Annexure -3.

2. I have always been committed to my employment and I have devoted my full

time and energy to my job. I have been very eager to learn and I have invested

 my full time and energy during the course of my employment. Supremology is
in the business of placing its employees with its clients for providing services
to its clients. For this purpose, the clients of Supremology interview the
employees of Supremology for selection. I have, at all times worked towards
upgrading my skills for being selected by the clients of Supremology.

3. In terms of my Letter of Appointment, Supremology has agreed to pay me an

annual salary of Rs. 3,75,004/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Seventy Five Thousand
and Four Rupees only), which works out to about a monthly salary of Rs.
31,000/- (Rupees Thirty One Thousand only). I have not received any salary
from Supremology on and from April 2020. I have repeatedly requested the
Company to pay my salary, for which they have not responded positively.

4. In view of my repeated follow up, I was called for a meeting by Supremology

in the month of June 2020. I met Mr. Paul Joseph, Manager, Human Resource
and Mr. Jayram Ramanagowda, ________ Manager, representatives of
Supremology. They informed me that Supremology will not pay any salary
and that I will have to continue to work without salary. I informed them that I
will not be in a position to continue to work without salary and that I have a
single mother to take care. I was told by Supremology that I can resign from
my employment if I cannot continue to work without salary. In view of this
discussion, I wrote an email dated June 22, 2020, whereby I clarified that I
will not be able to work without salary and therefore, I must be allowed to
resign from the employment. I requested Supremology to let me know the exit
formalities and also requested for the return of my Original Degree
Certificates. In response to this email, Mr. Paul Joseph, HR Manager, issued
an email dated July 10, 2020, wherein he has stated that in view of the
investment made by the Company in providing me training, I have to honor
my financial commitment, before exit formalities are completed. When I
enquired further into this matter, I was informed over telephone by Mr. Paul
Joseph that I must pay the Bond amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs
Fifty Thousand only) to Supremology, if I have to receive my Original Degree
Certificates. It is important to note that Mr. Paul Joseph has not denied that
Supremology will not pay salary. On the one hand, I am not paid any salary by
Supremology and on the other hand, the said Company is demanding Rs.
2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) from me for being
relieved by the Company and for return of my Original Degree Certificates.

5. I wrote another email on July 27, 2020, bringing out all the facts and
circumstances and I again requested them for the return of my Original Degree

 Certificates. However, the said Company has refused to relieve me unless I
pay the said sum of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only). I
tried to reach out to the senior management of Supremology for assistance, but
I could not make contact with anyone. I was thereafter affected by Corona
Virus and as a result, I could not follow up on the matter for more than 1 (one)
month. Again, on August ____ 2020, I wrote another email, requesting for the
return of my Original Degree Certificates and for being relieved from my
employment. I clarified to the Company that I am resigning since I am not
being paid any salary and also I am not being given any work by the
Company. In response to the email, Mr. Paul Joseph has issued another email
dated ______ whereby he has falsely stated that I was not willing to take up
opportunities for being placed with their client for work at the client location. I
have never been provided any opportunity by Supremology to take up any
interview with any client of Supremology and I have not been offered to work
at their client location. Therefore, there was never any situation for me to
refuse the same. Supremology is making false claims to withhold my Original
Degree Certificates upto the time I pay them Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two
Lakhs Fifty Thousand only). The aforesaid email correspondence dated June
22, 2020, July 10, 2020, July 27, 2020, August ___, 2020 and ___, 2020, is
enclosed hereto as Annexure – 4.

6. It is evident from the above that Supremology is withholding my Original

Degree Certificates to coerce me to pay them Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two
Lakhs Fifty Thousand only). The said Company is blackmailing me and
holding me to ransom, by not paying me any salary, by not giving me any
work and at the same time, demanding a sum of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two
Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) from me. The only reason I wanted to resign from
my employment was because I was not being given any salary by
Supremology. I cannot be compelled to continue to work with Supremology
when they are not paying me my salary.

7. Mr. Paul Joseph, Manager, Human Resource and Mr. Jayram Ramanagowda,
________, and the Directors of the Company are responsible to ensure that
there is no injustice to the employees of the Supremology. However, they have
acted in a very unfair manner and therefore I am left with no option but to
approach your goodself to initiate action against Supremology, its Directors
and its Managers for the harassment that they have caused to me. I request
your kindself to initiate strict action against Supremology Software Services
Private Limited, its Directors and its Managers Mr. Paul Joseph, Manager,
Human Resource and Mr. Jayram Ramanagowda, for the harassment that they

 have caused to me and for holding me to ransom. Also, I request you to direct
Supremology to return to me my Original Degree Certificates. The details of

Please do help me. I trust that you will render justice to me by getting Supremology
Software Services Private Limited to return to me my Original Degree Certificates,
with an appropriate relieving letter.
