LEARNING FEEDBACK

In this new normal setting, everything really changes from then and now. I’ve learned
about the different of online learning compare to face to face learning is really different. They
many advantages and disadvantages. First is one of the most significant differences between
face-to-face learning and online learning is that face-to-face learning is synchronous, or done at
the same time in which there is no internet or signal disconnection. All instructors and
students/classmates are present in face-to-face learning. Face to face conversation or discussion
in real life scenario build good relationship toward student and instructors, although we online
learning or virtual learning is convenient because of this pandemic. Second is Online learning
sometimes tends us to be lazy and unproductive because we all have the time we have and
sometimes we don’t even know how to time management anymore compare to face to face
learning where we focus and really exercise not only our bodies and brains. This is when we can
interact to all of our classmate and brain storm. Third is the discipline and self-motivation, some
may say that it is harder to succeed in online education, and that is because you must be highly
self-motivated and disciplined. In online learning, no one is keeping you on track you must be
your own motivator, time keeper, and disciplinarian. And Measuring your performance where in
both face-to-face and online learning, instructors must have a way to measure performance. This
is typically done by way of submitting assignments, administering tests, exams and quizzes, and
creating points for participation. Participation and class ‘attendance’ is harder to measure in an
online learning environment. Anyway, both are educational purposes for us not to be left behind
in term of education and we also need to accept the fact that we need to adjust from before and
now.
All we did this week and last week was lectures and do the necessary activities in the
modules. And to tell you about RLE in the house or neighborhood compare to the actual clinical
area is never the same, feelings are different, learning is different and we did it all these days. I
learn many things by following a video presentation of a procedure that are sent to us via google
class somewhat I kind of miss seeing our CI do this procedure or assessment facing us in the
class. But still I learn to adjust and just apply self-learning by researching in the internet more on
things I’m confused compare to our CI before when they talk about assessment with extra details
about their experiences. Our clinical instructor really teaches everything even now during online
classes, nothing more and nothing less. The experiences in learning may be different now but
still what we have learn is what we keep and what our teachers teach us is really important.
