The course of Bachelor in Business Administration has reached enormous height amongst the
present generation. In the recent years, the course has been extensively developed in order to
reach the high expectations of the core based companies that are involved in both,
management of the business as well as within the human resource department. This itself
shows the significance of this course.

BBA is basically the study of Business administration. This includes detailed study of the
various aspects of Business and management of business operations. The importance of BBA
can be estimated easily by knowing the requirements to be a part of the corporate sector. To

Introductory Micro Economics

goods and services and the decision making processes of the business firm under different
market structures.

Introductory Macro Economics


This course is a study of national income concept and accounting, and income
determination in the Keynesian framework introducing aggregate demand and aggregate
supply and equilibrium analysis in the money market, the goods market and the labour
market, followed by monetary and fiscal options for increasing employment, controlling
inflation and achieving an international balance of payment.

Accounting
The course is an introduction to the basic concepts and principles of accounting
as applicable to both merchandising and service oriented business.

Principles of Marketing
The objective of this course is to introduce students to the basic Principles of Marketing,
developing a concept of the market and its environment.

Banking and Portfolio Management


The objective of the course is to introduce the students to the saving - investment process
and financial intermediation by commercial banks the role of the central bank in the banking
system with special emphasis on reserve requirements, discounting and open marketing
operation. The effect of fiscal and monetary policy on the money supply and prices.
International Business
The course provides a basis framework of how business is conducted at the International
level. All areas of business i.e., Finance, Marketing, Production, Accounting, human resource
management are studies.
