3) A closed loop system is used to track the sun to obtain maximum power from a photovoltaic
array. The tracking system is represented in the system with H(s) = 1, and G(s) = 100/( τs+1),
Gc(s) =0, where τ = 3 s nominally. a) Calculate the sensitivity of this system for a small
change in τ. b) Calculate the time constant of the closed loop system response. If Gc(s) =K.
For what value of ‘K’ will the sensitivity of this system for a small change in τ will be zero.
