their dream home. Here’s what they told us.

My dream is to live in a lovely, old cottage by the sea, small but

comfortable, decorated in a simple style. I’ve often thought
about buying one but we can’t afford it. My wife’s dream home
is a modern, expensive house with at least five bedrooms and
a garage, like you see in Happy Homes.

At the moment I’m renting a shared house with four other girls.
It’s cheap and within walking distance of the university but I
can’t wait to get my own place. My dream home would be a
big, expensive apartment in the city centre with amazing views
and a luxurious bathroom all to myself!

I’ve always wanted to live in a big family home in the countryside.

My passion is cooking so, for me, the kitchen would be the
main focus of the house. I’d have a beautiful, fitted kitchen with
an expensive stove, like an AGA, and a barbecue area on the
terrace.

Our ideal home would be a large flat near the town centre with
three bedrooms for when the grandchildren come to visit. It
would need to be on the ground floor because my husband
can’t walk up lots of stairs. We’d love a nice, little garden that
doesn’t need too much work.
