COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW QUESTIONS 

Question No. 1​ – Discuss the best alternative Method in collecting data, give 
specific example. Discuss 
 
What do you think is the best alternative method now that we are in the new 
normal. Now that there is physical distancing, there is limit in the movement, 
now that lockdown is still being implemented. 
The first paragraph should identify your alternative method and explain that 
alternative method then you give example on how you are going to do or use 
that alternative method then you discuss the advantages and disadvantages of 
your alternative method. 
This question requires a minimum of 4 paragraphs 
NOTE: In the comprehensive test, if the example says – give example, you have 
to identify or establish your context so – to establish context . . . “ in my Math 7 
class, meaning what subject and grade level 
Another in answering “give specific example”: “ in my Science 10 class, when 
the topic is on Magnetism, and I am going to gather data, the alternative 
method will be . . . (you discuss why did you choose that alternative, what are 
the advantages and disadvantages of your alternative method) 
Why is it important to establish your context . . . the checker will find 2 in 
your answer – the content of your answer and how fit is your answer to the 
content. 
Is the answer will fit according to the grade level? Or may lower level or higher 
level 
Question No. 2 ​– What inputs and processes are critical to the transition of 
students in becoming work ready, entrepreneurial ready, and college ready. 
Support your answers with systems and diagrams. and provide concrete 
example. 
What are inputs and transition experience by the learners to be work ready, 
entrep ready, and college ready. 
Study how practice using arrow, diagrams, framework in the computer 
 
Question No.3 ​– (Note: if the questions have a parameter, your answer must 
not go out of the fence, answer within the parameter) 
Critical and creative thinker recognizes the legitimacy of alternative use, 
embraces ambiguity, remains open to continued learning, uses complex 
thinking structure. 
Why? To be able to produce new and original idea 
The question is . . . as a school leader in your school or as a teacher (depends 
upon your context), design a program that will ensure your graduates will 
become a creative and critical thinker. 
 
Question No. 4​ – Einstein decades ago said that one can not solve a problem 
using the same consciousness that created it. We must learn to see the world 
anew. Further, Einstein also said that critical mind is a faithful servant, the 
creative mind is a gift. (you were given a very precious gift by your friend – you 
don’t like to use it because it is too beautiful to use) 
The question is – react to his ideas and discuss how can you improve your 
classroom guided by this idea. 
First part of your answer 
Explain the two ideas of Einstein then react – do you agree or do you not agree, 
why? 
The third part – need to establish again your context like “in my Math 10, when 
the topic is on . . . . how are you going to use the two ideas of Einstein to 
improve classroom instruction in my Math 10 class. 
 
Question 5​ – A secret of good management is being able to develop a culture 
that reinforces excellence, as an educational leader, how will you go about 
developing the culture of excellence in your school? 
The question is asking to make a plan. First – you have to define what is 
EXCELLENCE and then make a plan or program – how are going you to 
develop a culture of excellence in your school. 
 
 
 
 
 
Question No. 6 ​– A COVID-19 has change the way we educate the whole world 
so the pandemic related destruction offers to educators the opportunity to 
rethink about changes ,challenges and risk and opportunity there are in the 
new normal.  
In the new normal, technology has step into the bridge and technology 
continue play key role in educating future generations.  
Why? Even if we go back to face to face classroom, 100%, it will never be the 
same. Technology will play a great role in educating the learner 
Discuss the crucial role that technology will play in ensuring student learning. 
Provide concrete examples of this role by specifying what might happen in the 
teaching learning process in your classroom. 
 
Question No. 7​ – for CDDS 
The curriculum designer oversees the school curriculum and teaching 
standard – this is the role of CDDS 
The curriculum designer defines the frames and then prepares the teaching 
material in physical and digital form taking into consideration that all schools 
are shifting into online distance learning,  
Design and create an online technology plan in your own subject. Identify first 
your own context. 
“What is your online technology plan in your Math 10 class?” 
 
Question No. 8​ - How important is it to critically align your assessment to 
your desired student learning. Explain how are you going to execute this 
alignment thru an example using specific lesson in the subject you are 
handling, provide applicable theories, principles and examples to support your 
answer. 
What documents talks about aligning assessment with your desired student 
learning. 
Memorandum 8 of DepEd – read about it 
The memo says that assessment should be aligned with your desired 
learning target for your student.   
Question – How are you going to do this alignment in your own subject  
Give example how are going to do the alignment in your assessment 
Question No. 9​ – Education shift has happen now so the challenge in the new 
normal 
1) Make learning to be more active 
2) Make assessment more authentic – you have to cheat-proof your 
assessment 
3) You have to increase student’s responsibility 
4) Develop student’s metacognition 
As a teacher, in your school design a program you can implement, monitor, 
and assess to help your school face these four challenges. 
(even though you knew more challenges in the new normal, since there were 
given parameters, follow it, don’t give more and share more) 
Limit your answers with the given 4 parameters. What program can you make, 
the program you can implement, how are your to monitor the implementation 
of the program and how are you going to assess the effectivity of the program 
so that your school will be able to face this four major challenges. 
 
Question No. 10​ – Every curriculum has three levels, the WRITTEN 
CURRIUCLUM (K-12 – the only one curriculum), the second level – 
IMPLEMENTED CURRICULUM (it goes down to 40,000 schools in the 
Philippines and every school has it’s own implementation from the written 
curriculum, they differ in the implementation so there will be 40,000 
implemented curriculum under one written curriculum from the DepEd: it will 
depend on the quality of teachers, the training of teachers, facilities of the 
school and it will depend on what the school is doing.) Thee third level – 
LEARNED CURRICULUM – it depends on the IMPLEMENTED CURRICULUM. 
Therefore the students experienced or learned differently. Some students 
learned more in a particular school, other students learned less in a different 
school and other students did not learning anything in a different school.   
Comprehensively discuss these three levels and discuss how you can help your 
learners satisfactorily experience this in your school. 
 
 
 
 
Question No. 11​ – What are the five principles and five core values of 
Paulinian Education.   
Give an application of one principle and value in your work at present. 
Answer: Discuss first the five principles and five core values of Paulinian 
Education. Then choose one that best apply to your present work and that is 
what you are going to discuss. Give example how you are going to apply in 
your present work. 
 
Question No. 12​ – As an instructional leader, create a program for your 
classroom that makes technology your friend, your program should include 
areas where technology can not compete with you and areas where you can not 
compete with technology. 
What areas can you not compete with technology: 
a) Cognitive skill 
b) accuracy and precision 
What areas can technology can not compete with you 
a) Affective 
b) Care
