D - CONCRETOR

Grade of concrete used in the construction and recommended mixes as follows.


(a) Grade C20/25 Recommended Mix 1 : 1 ½ : 3 (20mm)
(b) Grade C16/20 Recommended Mix 1 : 2 : 4 (20mm)
(c) Grade C12/15 Recommended Mix 1 : 3: 6 (40mm)

Rate shall include,


(a) Mixing, hoisting, placing and compacting on the surfaces of any material or on formwork.
(b) Forming any construction joint and before concreting edge should be chipped and cleaned
(c) Vibrating, curing and protecting concrete surfaces from harmful weather conditions.
(d) Forming slope on upper surfaces where required.

H- PLASTERER

Rates for wall finishing shall include for:

I - PAVIOR

Rates for paving and tiling shall include for:


(a) Preparing surfaces of concrete / brick to receive rendering plaster bedding etc.
(b) Joints between different surfaces.
(c) Finishing to slopes and cross falls.
(d) Straight cutting and waste of tiles and other types of floor finishes.
(e) Protecting finished surfaces.
(f) For temporary rules, screeds, ground etc.
(g) All normal cutting arises, rounded edges, bedding and pointing.
(h) Slope should be maintained to a suitable direction to flow the water towards out side.
(i) Expansion joints so that no cracks propagated.
(j) Tiles should be approved by the Architect.

(d) Rafter hooks fixing rafters to the wall.
Rates for joinery work shall include for:
(a) Framing together all works in accordance with the best practices.
(b) Nails Screws, Glue, plugs etc.
(c) Priming backs before fixing.
(d) Rawl plugs, brass screws etc.
(e) Drilling and making goods.
Instructions
(a) Approval for all Roofing materials should be taken from the Engineer before using.
(b) All the timber used to be treated with wood preservative to the specifications.
(c) Ceiling sheets to be painted with one coat of acetic filler and two coats of emulsion p
(d) All the beading to be painted with one coat of wood primer and two coats of enamel paints.
(e) For exposed rafter roofs, timber should be well planed and varnished. Timber sizes indicated in the
description are the sizes before planning.

(e) Providing samples and specification of all paints to be used in the works.
(f) Providing painting to an approved colour scheme design.
(g) All the paints are to be done up to the manufacturers specification.
(h) Preparation sample panels of different finishes for the approval of the Engineer. Each panel not less
than 0.5 sqm in area.
