Here is an evolving crowd-sourced Google doc that many film educators are using to share ideas
and resources:

The Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival, which I codirect with Tom Shevory, has mounted
an online exhibition of new media art called RADICAL INFILTRATIONS. It is cocurated by Dale
Hudson and Claudia Costa Pederson. It features 7 international new media works, all aligning
with documentary and experimental modalities. We rushed to get it online in order to serve our
colleagues in documentary and experimental work. It's free too, just click on.

OVID.tv is an excellent on-demand service that is strong on documentary, streaming films from
Icarus, Women Make Movies, Grasshopper, First Run Films, and other indie distributors. It is a
personal subscription service, like Netflix or Criterion Channel. (And is available in the US and
Canada only). They do have an educational service, docuseek, for digital licensing to colleges and
universities.
GuideDoc.tv is another subscription service, less experimental in focus but with an international
scope.
IDFA also have documentaries online. About 200 titles for those outside the Netherlands:

Patricia Lange: I just released my ethnographic film Hey Watch This! Sharing the Self Through
Media (2020) which uses a case study of early YouTubers to explore enduring and profound
philosophical questions about media such as: Where is the "real me" in and through media?
What constitutes true participation on social media? What do I envision for my digital legacy?
The film can be used to illustrate information in my book Thanks for Watching: An
Anthropological Study of Video Sharing on YouTube (2019), or on its own.
The film is posted on Vimeo and has a study guide. It is constructed in a modular way so that
individual online break-out sessions or exercises might follow from individual student
screenings. The film can be used in its entirety, or students might be directed to view a brief
series from a section and discuss it own write about it.
