When Abraham obeyed the Lord, when he went out of his country, and reach to the promise land, it

was such an amazing moment for him when God appeared to Him and when God promised to give the
promise land to his descendants. With so much thankfulness in his heart, he built an altar and called
upon the name of the Lord. In our life of faith, when we are willing, and obey the Word of God, God will
also appear to us, and spoke into our heart thru His Holy Spirit. Truly when God visits us there is so
much joy in our heart. Brs and Srs I want to experience that exceeding joy in my heart, I want to have
that living water in my heart. That’s why we really need to build an altar to the Lord- an altar of prayer,
faithfulness and obedience to His Word. We must really offer ourselves to the Lord as a living sacrifice.
And through these we could be set free and all the more we call on the name of the LORD with so much
thankfulness and gratitude in our hearts. I am truly encouraged with this Brs and Srs.

Abraham on his way to Egypt had already felt fear in His heart; suddenly the inward joy and confidence
he had in the promise land was lost on his way to Egypt, he had already felt that something bad will
happen, but nonetheless he followed his own flesh, he was stubborn. He had not sought and trusted
the Lord. He forgot that the Lord appeared promised to Him. He placed his wife in a dangerous situation.
By his decision, he could no have had his own descendant. But God was merciful to Him. He protected
Him and provided a way out for him. It was only God who could really fight protect and save his from
satan, from pharaoh who was very powerful at that time. In our life of faith also there were several
times that we went back to Egypt, to our old men. We have had a lot of fellowship with satan. But thank
God He provided a way out for us through cross of Jesus Christ. It is only by Jesus Christ, by His Holy
Spirt that we can be set free from satan.

Abraham was very rich when he went out to Egypt. He have had a lot of livestock, silver and gold and at
that time he decided to back to the place where he built an altar and call upon the name of the Lord. He
expressed so much gratitude , and thankfulness in his heart. His faith was restored and and he repented.
This is very encouraging, in out life of faith, we must recognized our mistakes and really go back to the
Lord our God. I am very thankful that with the mistakes I committed I can go back to the Lord our God
through Jesus Chirst. Really through God’s resurrection power I can continually walk to the narrow path
with so much joy and thankfulness. Truly in my faith life I want to overcome sin. I want to have an
overcoming faith life so that I can also have so much gratitude and thankfulness in my heart as I walk in
this life of faith.

Amen Brs and Srs.
