Print the latest checklist for Site run pipe routing from the master

checklist.
2. Before start the drawing, read the contract data sheet.

3. Ensure the piping is under IBR or NON IBR.

If piping under IBR, Ensure the following.

a). DESIGN DATA

c). Welding Details with IBR FIG.NO.

5. Check design pressure and design metal temperature of the pipe.

Check the pipe routing with latest General Arrangement, Plot Plan, PPA

and structure GA drawings.
Check the location & elevation of equipments as per plot plan and vendor

8. Check the pipe routing is fouling with equipment or structure.

9. Ensure all lines are covered as per P & ID.

Ensure the following items are provided in the drawings as per P & ID.
a). Valves and valve tag nos.
b). Pressure and temperature gauge.
10. c). Pressure and temperature transmitter
d). Sampling
e). Flow transmitter
f). Pressure killing device / Orifice Plate.
Check the item nos, material specification, item quantity as per piping

layout.
12. Ensure the bought out items are numbered correctly.

13. Ensure the BOM for part drawing nos. are mentioned correctly.

14. Ensure the vendor drawings for connection between equipment to piping

Check the vendor drawing for pipe connection matting flange and
15. fasteners are released, if not released. Ensure these items are released
in this drawing.
Valves and instruments shall be installed in such a way it shall be

operated either from platform, ground or conveniently from operating floor
Check whether the valve bodies or their hand wheels are fouling with

adjacent structures or pipe lines.
18.. Check the material specification for fittings with concern person.

Ensure elevation and pipe routing dose not affect the free movement of

Ensure continuous dimensions are mentioned for piping from reference

Consider 10% extra length for pipe, in addition to total length of pipe as

Provide extra quantity for elbows and support clamps for easy to pipe

Provide supports for straight pipe every 3 meters and provide the

supports at bend location.
24. Ensure the typical support details are given in drawing.
For unequal tee socket weld fitting is not available, proceed with butt weld

Check and ensure that all the weld symbols along with the details are

given correctly
Provide the pipe length and support clamps for drain pipe based on

trench or pit location.

28 Ensure the following notes are must.

The arrangement and dimensions shown in this drawing is tentative only.

Support materials given in random length. Use these as per site
