Safety Information
These instructions contain important operating and safety information. The user must carefully
read and understand the instruction manual provided, prior to operation of unit. The unit has been
designed for optimal function, reliability, safety, and ease of use. It is the user’s responsibility to
install the oven in conformance with local electrical codes.
Safety Precautions
Warning precautions alerts for possible situations of
personal injury.
Do not use the unit in areas where flammable or explosive gasses are present. This
unit is NOT explosion-proof. To avoid possible fire and/or property loss, and injury
or death to personnel, do not place oven on or near any combustible surface.

Installation
Do not use this unit is areas where flammable or explosive gasses are present. This
unit is NOT explosion-proof. Do not place oven on or near any combustible
surface to avoid the possibility of fire and resulting property loss and injury or death
to personnel.
Do not use explosive and/or flammable substances that include explosive and/or
flammable components. Not adhering and not following these precautions may
result in explosions or fires.
Do not place sample(s) on the floor of the chamber. There is a possibility that the
sample(s) overheat and catch fire.
The unit must be connected to a power source that meets the electrical
requirements as specified on the unit’s nameplate.
Use power supplies that are grounded. Ungrounded power may cause serious
damage to the user and equipment. For safety, do not connect any ground
conductor to a gas or water pipe.
(1) Open the package carefully. Make sure all parts are accounted for before discarding
packaging materials.

(2) Install the unit on a flat level surface, free from drafts, and heat sources, to allow for natural
air movement to dissipate heat from the oven.
(3) Allow enough space to the left of the unit to allow for the door to open 180°.
(4) Avoid heat sources and direct sun light, place the unit where ambient temperature range is
5C ~ 40C and relative humidity is lower than 80%.
(5) Do not install unit in a danger zone, where there are flammable gases, explosive materials,
and organic solvents.
(6) The unit will only work correctly, when using proper power supply.
(7) Outlets should be located near the unit and easily accessible.
(8) Do not allow moisture, organic solvents, dust, and/or corrosive gas to enter into the control
box.
(9) Do not install unit near other machines generating strong high frequency noise.
Notice
(1) Do not touch power cord and/or other electrical components with wet hands.
(2) Do not place explosive and/or flammable chemicals inside of the oven.
(3) Do not place flammable materials near oven.
(4) Use caution when handling samples inside of the oven. Samples will be hot to the touch
during or after testing runs.
(5) When cleaning the unit, do not pour water directly on it.

Operation
6
Controller
Specificity
(1) CLS-Control System temperature and heater output are controlled by the Main CPU. The
Main CPU is able to perform precise PID calculations. All safety control for is controlled
by the selective functional Logic IC, which is installed separately. It is designed to
conduct safety performance against any electric and/or electronic shock on the unit.
(2) CLS-Control System shuts down all 2 phase power supply to each component
immediately and informs user of instability through audio and visual device, and then
keeps in safe mode until all instability conditions have been resolved.
(3) CLS-Control System provides users with two choices when the unit operation are
terminated by power failure and then recovered; the first choice allows for operation of
unit to resume and the second choice allows for the unit to keep at standstill.
(4) CLS-Control System is designed to keep very small amount of currency (only 5V, 10mA)
to contact point. This allows for extended durability at the contact point.
7
(5) Door open LED – Indicates that the door is open. LED turns “ON” when the door is
open
(6) Over heating alarm LED – Indicates that overheating has been triggered. LED blinks
while emitting an audible sound, when heater rises higher than the set temperature.
When the oven overheats power is cut to the temperature controller. To resume
operation set the knob 15% higher than the set temperature and press Start/Stop
button.
(7) Temp button – For setting the temperature and accessing sub menus.
(8) Timer button – For setting the timer and accessing sub menus.
(9) Up button – For increases set value or cycling through setting values.
(10) Down button – For decreases set value or cycling through setting values.
(11) Enter button – Saves set value.
(12) Start/Stop button – Starts or stops operation of unit.
(13) Lock button – Locks controller buttons.
(14) Auto Tune button – Activates auto-tune when pressing A/T button for 1 second.
(15) RUN LED - Turns on when the oven is running and turns off when the oven stops.
(16) SV display – displays set temperature and remaining time when timer is on.
(17) PV display - displays present temperature.
Temperature Setting
(1) Press button once. From the SV LED display, the set temperature value (SV) will
blink, allowing for input of different temperature values.
(2) Press buttons to increase or decrease the temperature digit values. Then
press button to save the desired set temperature value.
8
(3) If the button is not pressed within 10 seconds of the temperature change the SV
display will default back to original saved set temperature value.
(4) Press button once more when the SV LED display is blinking to access
additional menus and settings of the TEMP button.
9
Timer Setting
(1) Press button once to access the delay (W/ON) and shut off (W/OFF) timers. The
timer on.t (W/ON) and off.t (W/OFF) is shown on the PV LED display and the timer
values are shown on the SV LED display. To adjust the time value use the and
arrow to increase or decrease time and then press the (enter) button.
(2) W/ON LED will turn on along with an audible beep after wait on timer set value input
has been completed.
(3) Press button once more, to access wait off timer. Set timer by pressing
and arrow and then press the (enter) button.
(4) W/OFF LED will turn on along with an audible beep after wait off timer set value input
has been completed.
10
(5) Refer to the diagram below to view a visual representation of the timer function.
Temperature
Time
I. Wait On Timer - The unit begins to run after a set desired time has passed. Maximum is
99 hr 59 min, and minimum is 1 min.
II. Wait Off Timer - The unit will stop running after desired time has passed. Wait OFF
timer will begin once PV reaches SV value.
(6) To deactivate timer function press the button. The timer LED will turn off. To use
one time set, set the desired timer with the desired time value, and set the undesired
timer input value at 0.
(7) To access additional functions of TIMER, press the button once more when
the PV LED displays off.t. The LED display will display as shown below.
I. The Arun function is a function that controls how oven will run in case there is a
power failure. If YES is selected the oven will resume back where it left off.
Auto Tuning
Perform Auto Tuning in order to get precise and rapid temperature control. PID value saved
automatically after Auto Tuning.
(1) Set all preset and desired temperature value.
(2) Press button for 3 seconds, Auto will display on the PV LED display and Tune will
display on the SV LED display.
(3) Auto Tune time varies according to the environment in which the oven is installed. The
LED will turn off when Auto Tune and Present temperature and Set temperature meet.
11
Lock Function
This feature allows the user to disable all buttons except for the LOCK button to prevent
unwanted user from changing values.
(1) Press button for 3 seconds, activation of lock function will be followed by an
audible Beep.
