MDS for Computer
Systems Mechanical Engineer No

Situation
The situation was faced related to plumbing works which there was the requirement of following the defined regulations, codes and standards.

Action

There was the water supply which had higher particles concentration with the negative consequences and it affected the plumbing components. I evaluated the pumping issues into
lower supply pressure and sediment accumulation was the associated cause. But, the sediment deposits removal was the solution proposed if the poor water quality was not addressed.
There was sediment built up again over time. There was excess water pressure resulted to cause plumbing leaks and the seals were designed for it. I obtained the higher pressure which
enhanced with the mechanical load on piping and it caused damage supports and unions over time. There was the plumbing fixtures which suffered a service life reduction when these
were constantly subjected to excessive pressure.

Outcome

I achieved the work objectives with the consistent implementation of the regulations, codes and standards. The significant implementation of the work activities were conducted with
the regulation of the defined mechanical engineering standards.
