Dear Admission team,

I, Sinar, have been working as a health worker in World Humanitarian Organisation on International
Organisation for Migration (IOM-UN Agency) and Peace Corps (US Government Agency). I have
completed a bachelor degree course in Midwifery Educator from the Sebelas Maret University of
Surakarta, Indonesia. I have two years of experience as a researcher of nutrition health in regards to
study population in marginal low income society. Since then, my life path is to be passionate to work
with people and organisation, so at 2014, along with 3 of my best friends, we established an
Komunitas Pondok Inspirasi - Organisation focusing on free education of children in low income
family status. Public Library in Marginal Population Setting at 4 rural area in Indonesia had been
builded to committed to our programme. I am enjoying my daily life as health staff working from 9-5
pm, while managing my own organisation outside my office hours.

In my duties at office, I have responsibility to maintain health of 1275 refugees and assylum seekers
in Indonesia. I did health promotion and health education, giving routine vaccination, assist them if
they have health issues, daily visit to their camps, and doing regular monitoring evaluation data
through reporting in diagram, percentage and some worksheet to track the most common disease in
elderly population, female and male violence, abuse victim, and young marriage among of refugees
population in our country.

The subjects in my graduation provided me key insights in statistic of health care, also administrative
of health data as health practitioner. But I feel I need to pursue Project Management Degree to help
me leading my own organisation in more deeper knowledge because my previous education
background it is from Health Area. Moreover, I have completed the Applied Approach Certifications
in Project Management Course Seminar shortly after my graduation. All these aspects have
provided me with a strong base for studying the master's course in Project Management.

Therefore, I am applying for a Postgraduate Taught a year in Project Management, which is offered
by your reputed college. I am interested in play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring,
controlling and closing projects . I am glad to know that Westminster University could support my
professional future career as Founder and Program Director in Komunitas Pondok Inspirasi
Organisation.The Postgraduate focuses on sharping those role on how organisational decision-
making is influenced by the economic, societal, cultural, and geographical context, and on how these
demographic events have an impact on well-being.

I will studying strategic and practical approaches, this course is designed to equip with a set of
tested skills for planning, delegating, monitoring and controlling projects in a traditional and an agile
way..I've seen the syllabus that your college used is by APM’s five dimensions of professionalism
and PMI’s Talent Triangle®, which are widely accepted as best practice in the area of project
management. It will given me the knowledge and tools to help implement strategies for change, in a
responsible and sustainable way, in order to influence progress within my organisation I founded.
The Master Science of Project Management is useful to support my career professionals working at
government US Agency and UN field too.

Your highly educated and experienced staff, great featured researchers, exceptional training
facilities and fully fledged practical rooms of your colleagues have also influenced my decision to a
great extent. I assure you that I will adhere to all the rules set by your college at all times. Moreover,
I am an ardent follower and believer in technology which supplements my learning skills in a
significant way. Therefore, I kindly begged you to consider my application.
