1 Introduction
1.1 Purpose
The purpose of the document is to provide the step by step procedure for installation of Siebel
Analytics Briefing Book Reader (BBR). This document contains step by step procedure with
screenshots for BBR installation.
1.2 Audience
The primary audience of this document is support team for GSMS users or any analytics end
user. This is required for every user, who would like to see analytics reports offline which are
downloaded in briefing books.
1.3 Scope
This document is used along with Briefing Book Reader installable and its license file. This
primarily gives step by step BBR installation procedure and it could be used by analytics user to
install it on his machine or laptop. This is required for every user, who would like to see
analytics reports offline which are downloaded in briefing books.
2 BBR Installation Procedure
The BBR step by step procedure is given below
1. Get a copy of BBR installable and a license file for the same
Installable Name: SBBinstall.exe

License File: BBR License.xml
2. Click on Win32Setup.exe file and screen as below will appear. Click on ‘Next’ button on
that screen.
3. After clicking on ‘Next’ button following screen will appear. Accept the license
agreement by checking a box as shown in screen below. Click on ‘Next’ button on that
screen.

4. After clicking on ‘Next’ button following screen will appear. This screen will appear with
default install directory path as C:\Program Files\Siebel Analytics\SABBReader. You
can continue with default path or can change the path if required. Click on ‘Next’ button
on that screen.

5. After clicking on ‘Next’ button following screen will appear. This screen will ask for a
path of BBR license file path. This path can be given by clicking on ‘Browse’ Button on
the screen below and going to final license file location. The sample license file path is
shown in screen below. Click on ‘Next’ button on that screen after specifying license file
path.

6. After clicking on ‘Next’ button following screen will appear. This screen will show you
install location specified by you and memory size required for installation. After verifying
path given and memory size required click on ‘Next’ button.

7. After clicking on ‘Next’ button following screen will appear. This screen will remain for
the duration of installation process with ‘Next’ button not activated. The installation
process time is couple of minute if installable is on the same machine. It may take
longer time if installable is accessed through network path. Once installation is
complete ‘Next’ button will get activated. Click on the activated ‘Next’ button.

8. After clicking on ‘Next’ button following screen will appear. This screen will give a
message for successful installation of BBR and ‘Finish’ button activated. Click on the
activated ‘Finish’ button and it will be end of BBR installation. It will not require ‘Restart’
of a machine on which it is installed.

3 BBR Un-installation Procedure
1. On your computer, navigate to Start  Control Panel  Add or Remove Programs and
you will see following screen. In the list of installed programs, there will be “Siebel
Analytics Briefing Book Reader” program. Click on ‘Change/Remove’ button

2. 2 After clicking on ‘Change/Remove’ button and it will take you to following screen.
Click on ‘Next’ button

3. After clicking on ‘Next’ button following screen will appear. Ensure both ‘Product
Unistallation’ and ‘BBReader’ check boxes are checked and click on ‘Next’ button

4. After clicking on ‘Next’ following screen will appear. Click on ‘Next’ button on that
screen.

5. After clicking on ‘Next’ button following screen will appear and click on ‘Finished’, it will
be end of end of uninstall process
