Band
Come join our School Band program and be a part of something great! Over 200
students comprising four year-round concert band, students may be elect to participate in the
Woodwind Choir, Brass Choir, Percussion Ensembles, Jazz Band and Winter Guard. The
competitive marching band, known as the “Valley Vanguard,” meets after the school day during
the fall semester and is comprised of mostly 10-12 grade band members. We have shared a link

Pub Club
Join the Pub Club to share your creative writing for Thor’s Hammer, the school newspaper,
including news and articles, photography, comics, short stories, videos, podcasts, or any other
creative ideas. It is also for students who want to help with the yearbook, Valhalla, especially
toward the second half of the year. Students interested should contact Mrs. Pedrick today for
information on how to join our meets on Tuesdays from 2:30-3.

Key Club
Join the Key Club to engage and learn about Community Service events, participate in
leadership opportunities via committees, and serve the community both in and out of school.

Amazing!!! Why not train in mental agility and increase academic knowledge for the purpose of

Valley Improv Club


Enjoy lots of fun join the Valley Improv Club. Improv Club is a ton of fun! What is improve?
Improv is acting without a script. We do this these really fun and exciting games. If you like
being goofy, playing fun games, and performing this is definitely the group for you. We meet

Drama Club
Ready to show your talent!!! Join the Drama Club. Audition will held for our first play via google
meets 10/7 – 10/9 from 3pm – 4pm. You are required to come one day and will need to prepare
a 1 minute monologue, poem, or spoken work piece. Drama Club will meet each Wednesday to
discuss our current production, play games, and learn about theatre. Email Mr. Mangels,

Equal Eats
If you are ready to engage in your community. Come join Equal Eats to help fight against
prejudice and stigma regarding homeless, feed homeless, give back to our community and
educate students about the ongoing troubles of homelessness. We have already received a
donation of 1,000 pairs of socks from Bombas Socks that will be distributed to the homeless this
year. Equal Eats 1st meeting will be held Wednesday, October 16th 2020. Advisor: Yvonne

Bible Club
Come join the Bible Club to talk about how to apply the Word of God to your life and fellowship
with other teens who have the same interests. Bible Club will meet on Wednesday @ 2:30pm.

Black Student Union
The Black Student Union is a club that focuses on learning black history and how that history
affects the social, political, and emotional well-being of people in the African diaspora in today's

National Honor Society


The National Honor Society elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship,
service, leadership, and character. Not only is student achievement important, but also

Hispanic Pride
The Hispanic Pride Club's goal is to spread cultural awareness on our campus and create a
community among our latino/hispanic population. By participating and hosting cultural events on
campus, we hope to engage and enlighten our fellow students while also helping to establish a
tight knit Hispanic community. We welcome anyone looking to get in touch with Hispanic and

Tabletop Gaming
Tabletop gaming is all about having fun with low-tech games. We normally play card games,
board games and tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons. It's a great way to hang out with
friends - or make some new ones - and go on adventures without ever leaving your room. For
those of you unfamiliar with tabletop rpgs like D&D: you, and a group of other players, create a
character. We will meet Wednesday and Friday after school starting October 5th.

Bravo Dance Company


Our dance company combines all styles of dance including ballet, jazz, hip hop, and
contemporary. Our goal is to tell stories through our movement that connects to the audience
emotionally. Our company is designed to prepare you as a professional dancer, as we
also compete in local competitions around the Las Vegas area. Our group of dancers become a
family unit, while connecting each other through their own personal stories. Advisor: Bryanna

Lady Vikettes
Lady Vikettes is a high energy, focus driven, and enjoyable dance club. We incorporate jazz,
pom, and ballet based styles of dance. Our goal is to perform and represent the school with the
highest level of professionalism. Our Lady Vikettes perform in the stands at football and
basketball games. We also perform for Pep Rallies and other school related events. We also
compete in competitions around the local Las Vegas area. Lady Vikettes build strong bonds

Philosophy Club
"Have you ever wondered how things work? Do you have deep thoughts on history, art,
and literature? Are you curious to learn more? Come to philosophy club! Together we
will do deep thinking, have discussions, read some classics and see how it affects our
lives today. We will also look at art, music, video games, and other forms of media and
see what makes them tick! Join Mr. Chance and contemplate the universe (or at least
some parts of it)!"

Choir Club
Both a class and after school club where students can develop their singing and performance
skills through a variety of performance opportunities. We are always looking for anyone who is
interested in making music through the use of your voice and encourage all students to find their

IB Council
IB Council will meet as a virtual club this year and will be the hub for all things IB! We will be
primarily focusing on supporting and connecting IB students during Virtual Learning. As an IB
council member, you can expect to provide ideas and input to help plan digital events from
game nights and watch parties to teacher masterclasses that showcase the wide range of
talents our IB teachers have to offer! Join IB Council and help make our IB family stronger than

Friendship Cafe
So let’s get involved and make a difference. Join the Friendship Café and enroll in the General
Education Curriculum to partner up with students in Special Education. This club will allow you
to meet others and for a friendship bond. Activities morning cup of coffee, movies and celebrate
