INTRODUCTION

As we all know. Kolej Poly Tech MARA Bangi (KPTM) Management didn’t release an
official dress code for students. Hence, we had to pick a topic for our assignment and we decided
to avail oneself of about the preferable daily attire for students to wear for classes in
campus. We conducted a survey among KPTM Students to choose their preferred attire to wear
daily as our assignment main subject. The target is to give a complete report in order to aid
KPTM Management to construct a bureaucratic dress code.

First and foremost, we would like to identify the felicitous of the students in KPTM by
preparing a survey. The main objective of our project is to use qualitative technique and
quantitative technique which we have learned in class to interpret the collected data.
Qualitative technique is a method of inquiry that develops understanding on human and social
sciences, to find the way people think and feel. Only a few non-representative cases are used as a
sample to develop an initial understanding. On the contrary, quantitative technique is a research
method that is used to generate numerical data and hard facts, by employing statistical, logical
and mathematical technique. A sufficient number of representative cases are taken to
consideration to recommend a final course of action. All things consider we are able to fully
utilize the both technique to accomplish our goals.

On top of that, the pre-eminent goals that we decided to choose an official dress code for
KPTM students as our topic is to provide a necessary statistics to the management. Two main
statistical methods are used in data analysis is descriptive statistics, which summarize data from
a sample using indexes such as the mean or standard deviation, and inferential statistics, which
draw conclusions from data that are subject to random variation for an example observational
errors, sampling variation. Descriptive statistics are most often concerned with two sets of
properties of a distribution (sample or population): central tendency (or location) seeks to
characterize the distribution's central or typical value, while dispersion (or variability)
characterizes the extent to which members of the distribution depart from its center and each
other. Inferences on mathematical statistics are made under the framework of probability theory,
which deals with the analysis of random phenomena.

Finally yet importantly, we can’t oppose the possibilities that we are going to face a few
problems. Nonetheless we are certain that we are ready to put our heart and soul to the commit to
the project. We hope that we are able to set seal on an adequate report seamlessly.

 Sampling Method
To collect the data or response among KPTM Students, we use google form then share the link
via Whatsapp and Telegram. We also ask our roommate/friends to share the link to their friends
who studied in KPTM Bangi.
