1/ - First day of internship, went to Kejuruteraan Desir Emas office in
22.7.20 PNM to meet Mr. Hafiz. He is the facility manager and my supervisor.
- Got to meet everyone during a morning briefing which are going to
be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9.00 a.m.
- Reported to Mechanical team, consists of 5 members.
- Collect data from Trane and Dunham-bush, this will be the daily
routine
- Standby for the day

1/ - Did the daily routine, collect the data from Trane and Dunham-
23.7.20 bush.
- Recorded the voltage and ampere from the chiller using a clamp
meter
- Cleaned the room, swept dusts, and mopped the floor
- Turn back on the AHU at floor 8 Menara. The AHU trips on starting,
but we able to make some adjustment and it able to run normally
- Standby for the day

1/ - Collected data from Trane and Dunham-bush, everything looks

24.7.20 normal.
- Inspect AHU at the 7th floor. Clean the dust filter, mopped the floor,
and look at the control panel
- Standby for the day

2/ - Did the daily routine, collecting data from Trane and Dunham-bush.
27.7.20 All the values were consistent.
- Checked the voltage of the motors inside the chiller room using the
meter clamp.
- Inspect AHU at the 8th floor. Clean the dust filter, mopped the floor,
check the belting condition, check the voltage.
- Checked the temperature on the thermostat to the room.

2/ - Collected the data from Trane and Dunham-bush.

28.7.20 - Checked main chilled water temperature, flow rate, pressure.
- Inspect AHU at the 9th floor. Clean the filters, check the belt tension,
check the motor bearing, clean the control panel.
- clean the diffusers on the 9th floor Menara.

3.8.20 - Recorded the voltage and ampere from the chiller
- Inspect AHU at the 10th floor Menara. Clean the filters, check the
belt tension, check the motor bearing, clean the control panel
- Check a refrigerant level of one of the split units on a G level, fill the
AC with refrigerant gas.

3/ - Welded the leaking coil using blowtorch. Leaking stopped and the

6.8.20 - Accompany lift contractor service lifts at Anjung
- Inspect AHU at the 11th floor Menara. Clean filters, check belt
tension, check the motor bearing, and look at the condition of the
control panel if there is anything unusual

3/ - Followed electrical team patrolling Menara on each floor to replace

7.8.20 broken lamps
- 30 fluorescent lamps replaced
- Some lights needed to replace ballast
- Inspect the condition of risers on every floor. Looked for any
unusual stuff like weird sound or unattached wires

10.8.20 - Replace broken nuts that hold the motor in the AHU at the ground
level Anjung.
- Realigned the motor and made it stable and able to reduce
vibrations as much as possible
- Replace two worn out belts

11.8.20 - Patrolled every AHU at the Anjung.
- AHU at level 3 needed to be mopped since the water rises because
the exit does not flow out.

4/ - Refill gas to air-conditioning unit inside the ICT room

12.8.20 - The unit does not function properly as we found out that the
compressor needs to be replace

- Recorded the voltage of chiller using clamp meter

13.8.20 - Cleaned diffusers on the 10th floor Menara
- Cleaned filters at the AHU on the 11th floor
- Understanding the distribution board (DB) at Anjung and had a
grasp on the current flow at one floor

14.8.20 - Comprehended how the flow from the chiller room to cooling tower
works
- Visited the cooling tower to see if everything works normally
- Turned on the AHUs which happened to be tripped with unknown
reasons

- Make sure the chiller ran properly and look for any unusual
vibrations or sounds
- Patrolled the 11th floor Menara. Clean dirty diffusers using dish rag
- Maintained 11th floor AHU Menara. Cleaned filters, remove any
dusts, and checked the control panel. Also checked the ampere when
the compressor ran.

5/ - Did the daily routine

19.8.20 - Refill gas to split unit located at the top floor Menara near the
cooling tower. The split unit serves the meeting room at the 15 th floor
- Adjusted the temperature control, checked the thermostat if its
functioning well
- Replaced the broken red and green led light on the control panel
inside the chiller room
- Standby for the day
